sterling and fernando castile were killed. both were caught on tape and went viral in fueled outrage and protests around the county and mostly peaceful protests broke out including dallas until a i'll sniper there opened fire on police officers killing five of them in a preplanned attack and the suspect a black 25-year-old u.s. army veteran is dead and police say he said during an hour's longstanding-off that he was upset about the week's shooting of black men and he "wanted to kill white people, especially white officers" and there are reports the gunman was planning a large area tack but fast-tracked his plans after last week's incidents. hundreds were arrested in protests around the country while others posted metsages on twitter and facebook some including black lives matter movement are calling for police reform. and others including the blue lives matter movement represen representing police officers are calling for solidarity

castile police departments in northern virginia are trying to deescalate stops with secure conceal gun owners before they hit the road. tom fitzgerald joins us liver with the story. fitz. good evening, this is about traffic stops. keep in mind philando castile incident is still under vexingts you already know the story. his girlfriend took a facebook live video of castile involved in a traffic stop with police and he tells police he has a concealed carry and then during that interaction he was shot and killed at least four times according to some reports that he was shot. now, here in virginia the commonwealth is a concealed carry state. and because of that reason, law enforcement departments around this region now are stepping up their efforts that could be educational concealed carry gun owners in event they're stopped by police. now take a look at this

in loudoun county that means they started a facebook post on their own page. what this is they're five tips they're calling this for concealed carry gun owners in traffic stops, knowing the laws, turning on dome light. telling the officer you have a weapon. displaying or reaching for your i.d. slowly and understanding the officer does not know who you are. and fairfax county meanwhile police are producing a youtube video that has been viewed over 50,000 times showing a traffic stop from officer's perspectiv perspective. now, in virginia again concealed carry gun owners are not required to tell an officer that they do have a weapon on them. but, officers still say sharing that information with an officer, the start of a traffic stop, well that is a courtsey they will like concealed carry owners to end. it's not by law required by law to let an officer know you have a concealed carry or that are you actually armed. it say courtsey thing letting you know you
