>> i think when he talkings about enforcing the laws of the country, he's not generally talking about additional laws. and immigration is a contentious issue. at conversation that he is the republican nominee is having with america to explain what he thinks in trying to get the country to vote for him. and there are a lot of -- i know we're talking about immigration but there's a lot of other issues in the campaign, but in terms of enforcing the law, you know, i know president obama has caught heat from a lot of folks for a lot of the deportation that he has done. this is an issue that -- that donald trump is trying to work out with the entire country. >> these are voters that he needs. wouldn't you agree? and the immigration issue speaks to that. >> no, he needs to -- he needs, if he can get all out of the republicans to vote for him, he seems to be reaching into a lot of democrats re

democrats, and also democrats in particularly in depressed areas where factories have closed and so on you used to be a lot of union member whose have voted democratic in the past but tending to vote for trump now. if you can take all the republican votes and add those folks to it, he can win. >> the polls are showing he doesn't have all of those votes. when he was in the primary season, we saw donald trump, you know, this harder edged donald trump and people were saying, to win all of the votes you're talking about he'd have to pivot back more to the middle. do you think we will continue -- it appears he's been pivots, will he continue to pivot more >> he needs to explain his position, he doesn't generally use a teleprompter and he'll get off topic. he sits down works out
