weekend. >> the storm right now already causing problems in florida. take a look. governor declared a state of emergency in 4 counties and cars got stalled in rising water and flooding forced some to evacuate their homes. >> sue palka is troping tropical storm path and joins us with the latest. >> hey, tony, shawn, you can see the trouble that happened in florida tonight with tropical storm hermaen being 35 miles away from florida. the storm has gotten stronger this evening with wind of 50 miles an hour. we were watching hurricane hun hunters investigating it and they're finding even stronger winds. it's moving north, northeast 8 miles an hour. we expect conditions to go downhill during the day tomorrow it looks like it will come to shore near the florida pan handle or big bend.

baby's father or not. when paramedics arrived the victim was alert enough to describe him and tell them where he lived. officers caught up with him app hour later intersection of palmera lane and due fin street in aspen hill. >> they were close to what they believed was his residence. when they arrived they believe he took a bus. plain clothed officers from the fourth district were waiting. he attempted to flee on foot but they apprehended him. she was also able to explain you know, personal and medical information to fire rescue personnel. >> how far along is she? >> i'm not sure. it's several months. >> school had already let out for the day. those inside einstein high at the time had to shelter in place briefly following the attack. so far, officials say they don't have any information of the suspects or victim attend the school and police do not believe there's connection to nearby montessori school. >> this walking path connects the two schools

frederick from the district. quite a light show there. i show you radar here. there's not a lot to see on radar. but, let's zoom into the lightning producer to frederic frederick. it's been intensifying and it's a strong storm load today lightning and it's been moving from west to east right along interstate 70. interesting how they like to track in that area. maybe somebody developing in montgomery county, certainly northern montgomery county demascus about do get hit on that with the storm as well. the area has been dry. some this rain is helpful. and then down to the south around the spotsylvania area we have severe thunderstorm briefly for a while. remnants of that storm also moving west to east whaxingt we have had no shortage of this august is days at or above 90 and we did break a record for august having 23 days and and above 90. that's highest number for any year and well by one day august of 1980 with 22 days. in terms of temperatures

seeing cooler air around frederick because of thunderstorm up there at 73. the district is 82. and you know what, we'll keep it in 80s tomorrow with a few thunderstorms overnight tomorrow will be a different feel day for you. for starters more clouds around and even early morning showers leftover from activity overnight and only topping out 86 with scattered showers and maybe a couple of thunderstorms around in the afternoon as frontal boundary comes through. what does that mean for kids at the bus stop. cooler, cloudier in the morning and maybe a little drizzle. 64 to 74 after school 86 to maybe 91 in hotter sparts south and here's frontal boundary that will create the cloud cover and maybe a couple showers. i'm not shoulding this will be a problem for the springstein goers tomorrow night bit wanted to show you future cast is picking up on the storms nicely north and south. we have a few showers nice in the morning 8 to 9:00 or so with no lightning expected but could be a blowup
