"fox5 local news" starts right now. >> thank you for joining us this evening i'm laurean. >> i'm jim lokay. >> the search is on for a man that stabbed two young men. >> lindsey watts is live with the latest. lindsay. >> lauren, jim, these stabbings happened right inside the west entrance of the wheaton metro station around in just the last 20 minutes we've gotten new information from police. i'm told victims are 15 and 16 years old. both are expected to survive. and they did know the suspects. important to note what is just above us here. you can see those two security cameras than crime was definitely caught on camera and we have asked police for video tonight and they're not releasing it at least not yet. i want to give you a look at what we saw when we arrived here today.

big police presence we saw both montgomery country and metro police here investigating for hours. you can see klom manage bags scattered on the ground. now as far as suspect. police say they did no, i the victims. they're likely young guys as well. right now police are still trying to identify and find two men that stabbed the victim. they have id'd the third person involved who police say didn't earlier we talked to metro spokesperson how cameras above the crime scene and elsewhere in the station could help with the case. >> metro stations are well equipped with cameras, pretty much every public space of every station v has camera coverage. this station is no exception so. we're hopeful that the cameras will prove fruitful in this case as well. >> the big police presence here earlier did disrupt some
