monday. good news is by tuesday we're drying things out and we're seasonably chilly temperatures in the 40s. some 30s north and wets and generally speaking nothing too bad by december standards and however, later this week that changes we'll fwet a big arctic blast one more typical of say january and february and then mid december around here. we'll talk more about that nay second there's storm system. you see snowflakes flying eastern portions or western portions of pennsylvania i'm sorry and eastern portions of ohio and great lakes, new york state, here in d.c. close by in west virginia and pan happenedle of maryland right on the edge where the warm air is meeting cold air. and because of that precip is frozen type not just snow and we're not going to see accumulations either. here's what you can expect. areas in the pink that's where you may see freezing rain. again cumberland, pan handle maryland and west virginia and high lands further south if elevated could see freezing rain. by afternoon hours though that all kind of clears out.
