why is that? well, virginia senator time kaine was the running made and there was wide speculation that had the democrats preveiled that alone could have sbung the fbi headquarters to virginia. now maryland appears to be solidifying his position to be the new home of the federal bureau of investigation. three sites are being considered in green belt and landover in maryland and over springfield virginia now before they left for christmas break here congress okayed 834 million for this project. and that's just a drop in bucket though. it will cost 2.11 billion in all and that price tag doesn't cover cost of old building on pennsylvania avenue which may be traded to whoever built the new fbi building. fox 15 learned that new silt requirements have been placed on whipping location right now are put in green belt,

people they serve and more of a challenge in one virginia county. tisha lewis has a story. >> prince william county is a big melting pot it's 60% caucasian and other 40% is minimum of african-american, latino, asian and more. this particular police graduating class had 44 graduates but is this class reflective of the community they will serve s we wanted to know so we asked. looking back at the previous class there's seems to be a lack of diversity. we asked police why? and a spokesperson admitted they have had problems creating a more random force and they say the goal is to do the very best they can do to reflect the community and police admit they're falling short and not due to lack of effort. prince will yunl county police department also says the department makes every attempt to hire minority

broud to do that. despite the visuals visuals we shared and showed to the community, police actively recruited historically black colleges and minority institutions and strive to be reflective of the community. there was mixed reaction about all this from the resident we spoke with. >> i don't see any african-american or any other race and it's not a good look. and this gives. >> and does this reflect the communities they serve should they do you think? >> i don't think so. but i think they need community policing. they need to be out amongst the community. >> it doesn't necessarily need to be one or the other. >> what type of impact do you think it makes on the community when the employment does
