favorite personal trainer to show us exercises and ways to get in shape without any excuses, leo from crunch joining us. last year, i made the promise i was going to get in shape for 2016 >> and you almost quit >> i almost quit. we started working out in february. by the end of march, i was like this isn't working, i'm bulking up, didn't lose weight and i didn't quit and i ended up losing ten pounds getting stronger and healthier >> that's because you stuck with it and went give you option >> you're basically like suck it up. you're doing this >> always need a fitness partner like a morning i'll guarantee you'll pick up some good habits. you don't have to work out like them but you can work out done things with them. the objective is to keep moving >> somebody to inspire you on your fitness journey. what are good exercises to get your body moving for january. all the wine, all the christmas food >> just start with the basic. if you thinking about i need t

but it's too hard. just think about going for a walk. >> start with light cardio. >> go for a walk, ten, 15 minutes, turn on the tv on the tread mill, have a conversation with somebody next to you. before you know it, 30 minutes will go by. you talk on the phone while you're walking around. show me a move if you're in the office and you get a lunch break and want to do cardio to wake up >> it's best for people that work behind a desk is 60 minutes go by, try to set your alarm on your phone or a fit bit or anything, as soon as your alarm goes off, bounce straight up and down. that's it. >> you can do this anywhere, in your living room, where you're watching shows, netflix >> you can check your e-mails at the same time >> commercial breaks >> exactly >> and food, i will say that what you eat portion-wise makes such a difference, the weeks i let it go. no matter how hard i was working

this is one of the hardest and easiest. you try to hold it 3060 seconds in the beginning, as long as you can >> she hated the plank but she began to love it >> paired to the sit-up that is i make her do, she lodges the planks >> i will tell you when we first started working out, i could barely do a set of sit-ups, now you have me doing ab exercises i never thought i'd be able to do. >> 20 sets of everything, she's knocking it out >> now that we lost the weight, we're going to sculpt. >> you want to start with cardio in the beginning >> you want to mix up the cardio with strength. especially in the beginning beginning >> to burn the calories, leo, i will see you later for the session. i want to help inspire you this year as well. let's do it >> all right.
