tonight, i'm lauren demarco thaa a i'm matt ackland. we begin with the protest that took over the national mallall today and even filledan pennsylvania avenue.d aven hundreds of thousands of peoplef showed up for the women's march on washington.wash the crowd was bigger than organizers expected and included plenty of actors, musicians and activists. organizers even had to change their plans to march to the t white house because there were too am people to fit along the original route. fox5 a's lindsay watts icily tonight. unlike yesterday's protest, it appears everything was pieceful today. >> matt and lauren, is thathat really good new, the fact thatat this was so pieceful, considering the sheer number of people involved is really remarkable. estimates that half a million people participated in the women's march here in d.c. and we're in mcphearson squarequar fright now which has turned into a shrine to this mo

bad, but the dense fog advisory has been issued and really righh now the dense fog advisory has been issued pretty north of the metro area, basically northern s maryland all the way up into pennsylvania. here, there,ou counties that are in gray andn that is going to extend all the way up through eastern sectionst of pennsylvania.of all of jersey and long islandisa under this dense fog advisory this evening, it goes through overnight and into tomorrowmorr morning. the air is kind of still and there's nothing to move it along so for the most part it looks like we have a big cloud on the ground and that's creating fog. there's washington county, that's where hagerstown is.is and then you get back out towards alleghany county andand morgan county, too. it also includes frederickderi county, over to carroll county and then baltimore, hartford county and then over to annever arrundel county. there's some talk at the weather service that they may need toed extend this more to the south and to the southwest and it may include the metro area and d.c. as well to give

they were spread out over a few states.es today they had 20 reports of tornadoes down through there. you can see right now coming out of parts of arkansas, northern louisiana again tonight through mississippi over into alabama am most of the reports from the tornadoes today have been cominb out ofe georgia, but that was earlier severe weather. so we're getting another round popping up again tonight. aga a lot of tornado watches in the deep south,, what's called a moderate risk of severe weather. another dangerous night for the deep involvement all part of tho storm system that is going to be getting here starting tomorrow evening. it will bring a lot of rainra tomorrow night into monday anddy will become a about it of a noreaster and heads up the coast. no snow, though, not with this noreaster, but it does look like we'll get a lot of rain.. i'll say this, one of the models is suggesting that there will bl some snow back to the west and northwest of us. i don't think it
