shot her. according to pinky. in the two arms and at least one leg was hit by this gunfire. the man then took off. now, we're doing the story to give you an update on pinky. she's doing well. she's at rehab and she's recovering the restaurants is back open and the community came out in force. we talked to her daughter earlier. janet are coming in asking about her mother, purchasing the carry out food and i can tell you when we got here to talk to the owner's daughter, the aroma is amazing it's an incredible pleas. i wanted to give you that update and also tell you that even though pinky recognized her attacker, dc police have still not made

to the crash. if you drive quite a bit in the district in montgomery county you better listen up. new legislation hopes to lower the speed limit to 20 miles an hour and in some 15 miles per hour. district's vision 0 plan calls for forming what they call safe neighborhood zones that would have 20 miles per hour speed limit and also establish 15 miles per hour ones around schools parks and other areas. it would lower the speed limit in roads on both residential and business districts to 20 miles per hour. a democratic rescue in charles county, a clinton man is luck could be alive after trapped inside a burning car, he was rescued by three sheriff's officers, this happened in waldorf on january 29th. there was an officer assisted with the dwi arrest. when the officer pulled out on the parking lot. he spotted an suv that struck a pole and completely engulfed

montgomery county says it plans to keep all immigration procedures in place and won't respond to any executive orders put forth by president trump. montgomery county leaders hosted a community meeting and press conference to address the issue of immigration in montgomery county earlier today. fox 5 political reporter ronica cleary is live with the story. ronica? >> sarah and jim. the room just a few people left. but let me tell you for the past two hours, this room was packed with community leaders, service providers, police officers, all there to discuss the future of immigration in montgomery county.

said and the emphasis was clear, montgomery county will not change its immigration policies in light of any of president trump's executive orders. highlighting that they believe residents will go under ground, even hungry, if they start asking people their immigration status at routine traffic stops. >> we are not changing. we are not moving back. we are going to stand for the montgomery county way of inclusion. this is a community. >> constitution of the united states does not allow the federal government to impose on our local police an immigration responsibility. our police do not ask people their immigration status if they got stopped for a speeding ticket. >> for further clarification, the council president explained that montgomery county is different

will stick. it doesn't look like much right now as you see the snow moving through the ohio valley making it to the ground and the laurel high lands in south central pennsylvania but it is a stolenning storm system as it rounds then over us and into the northeast it will be stronger deeper and that's why there's blizzard warnings out towards the north and east. rain doesn't start to enter until after midnight. it could begin as snow, as easily as places like hagerstown. it's during that overnight time frame 3:00 to 5:00 a.m. that we see the dramatic change from rain to snow. it may be heavy. this is at 5:00 a.m. montgomery county it's snowing, even the top side of the belt seeing snow. by 8:00 a.m. the exception being extreme southern maryland and into delmarva. we saw out there and it's probably not going to get below 40 untilft
