a federal grand jury indicted a former prince george's county delegate on campaign funds. michael vaughn is charged in connection with an ongoing. he resigned from the assembly in january. the indictment alleges that from april to 2016 he conspired with former liquor board members to trade money for favorable official action. they allege he took more than $10,000 in bribe payments and if convicted he faces up to 105 years in prison. in a storying around this time last i'm not. a burglary suspect who ran away from police and hid in the ceiling of movie theater is under under arrest. he's been charged with a long list of crimes including burglary, assaulting and an officer and destruction of property e broke into had a home in laurel while officer conducting surveillance.

focused took a very different turn, when several school districts, like prince george's county and maryland, alexandria city schools in virginia, found out that too many teachers were not coming to their jobs today. so those districts cancelled classes. now, we pushed for some answers with some of the teachers today asking was this the right thing to do, to not go to work and not go into your classroom and provide education for your students. you'll hear right now, teachers pushed back. this is what they had to say. >> when this argument comes up, that teachers should be in the classroom and not out here protesting, what do you say to somebody who has a problem with what you're doing >> i think it's important for everyone to realize that teachers are a tremendously dedicated group of people. and that we do teach our children to make important decisions, and by being here, we're actually modelling that >> i struggled up until last night with my decision.
