fox5's lindsay watts was one of the only reporters inside rockville high school's pta meeting tonight. what did parents have to say. >>reporter: shawn and tony, just an hour ago this entire e parking lot behind me was fillef with cars. if you were driving by rockvillv high school tonight you could tell something was going on.ethi you ma i have seen all the crowds, the anti immigration im protestors that were across the street from the school for hours today. news cameras were not allowed inside this pta meeting. me it definitely was not mediaedi friendly. but i was able to get some cellphone video. vi it was absolutely packed in there. montgomery county schoolsol superintendent, a police detective and other school officials made a presentationree and then they took questions. superintendent jack smith apologized to parents right after the bat. issue was raised tonight was the school's response tosc communication with the parents. one

too limit the superintendentmit blamed that on wanting to gather all of the facts and at a presss conference earlier today he said he regrets not being available seen. the fact that theselable two tes involved were here illegally and also they were 17 and 18 years old going to school as freshman. at one point the superintendent said this isn't a conversation about immigration, but about a horrible event.ven and that got some applause, but also sogers. the man who was sitting in front ofwa me, he got up and left at that point. he was visibly angry. there was some literature handed out to parents at the meeting about this continuation.out i want to give you some highlights. the district wants parents to par know that a supreme court decision prohibits schools denying education based on o immigration status. all people under 21 must be admitted to school under un maryland law.ryla montgomery county doesn't require on students' immigration states and they tell staff theyy should not ask about it citing c that supreme court
