different rather than another typical 20-year-old they want to explore and stuff but i'm in the gym all the time. >> it's different. >> how does it feel to be such a huge role models for young boys and girls trying to find their way. >> i'm still learning. i think it's a progress thing but it's still different. i'm like why are these kids staring at me but it's because they look up to me and i feel like as a role model i have huge examples to set so hopefully i can do that for them. >> just watching them take selfies with it and stan up and cheer and the excitement on the students faces that made my morning. you have so much going on right now. >> yes. >> i know you're looking forward to the 2020 olympics. >> i am. tell me about the training. >> yes. this year i'm taking a year off from gymnastics training. trying to find other things i like to do and explore and just have a year for friends and family. but then i'll start at the end of the year or beginning of next year to train for 2020. >> tell me what an off year feels like for you obviously you're still amazing shape. what's like the

meal for you if you get to indulge a little. >> pasta or pizza. i've getting out there eat wagon i want that's been amazing. i mean it is still difficult but it's different. >> it's nice you get a little time everybody needs a little bit of that i have to talk about dancing when it stat stars. >> you're killing it out there. your beyonce' survivor routine just the music the power the dance move the beginning of it, how does it feel to learn how to do such technical dance moves? >> um, it's very different because in jim mass nass ticks we can make up thing on the spot if you have to or fill in your time. your arm is up here you want it here. in dancing it's so different. you can't do that. >> speaking of let's bring in your partner sasha. come on in. we're so pysched to have you here with her today. >> thanks for having me. this is awesome. >> what is it like to train an olympic athletes to perform these dances? >> i mean, it really is a true inspiration just seeing here today at the school she's trial al role model and

kind of work with simone every day teach her how to dance i mean gymnasts it doesn't come easy dancing is very different to gymnastics and she puts in so much hard work and dedication and sometimes you don't get to see the full process of it you just see the finish product, and i mean the process is soiree w warring to see simone start not knowing this dance and then s slowly bill to the final dale she performs it it really is magic. >> what have you learned from working with sasha because you have such great chemistry which adds to the dance routine? >> hear this giggle. úi learned a lot. i feel like as time has gone by we're at week seven really week eight i've learn a lot from hill and i think i've matured a lot and i've shown other emotional sides that i would have never done before. but he bring out sides nobody does. >> like she just said, you know, coming in from week one just seeing her perform in one week, she's truly just grown so much as a person and experiencing and showing all these emotions that she's never had t

different backgrounds and really important people in the music industry walk not subway. >> how long after you started playing in the subways did it takes for things to start to pick up as opposed to people walking by, people starting to stop seeing the same people over and over. >> immediately musically there was something to harness there and immediately people were stopping but it took us probably six months to kind of like form because originally we didn't have a name and it was just something we were doing for fun for extra cash. so probably six months until it was like a thing and we had a name for our band and started playing gigs outside of the subway. >> was it always this style. have you changed the style as you've gone along? >> well i mean when we first started we like i said there's no preconceived notion or idea of what we were going to do. we kind of just met in the subway. and the two of them had been playing in the subway together before i had joined, um, early on, and they had already ind of had a vibe and we just came together and just through pl

collectively -- >> it took off. >> yeah. through the beauty of social median youtube you started to get more and more than of a following not just in the subway but outside of the subway i know you were doing performances above ground as well. all of a sudden beyonce' notices and then next thing you're national on the big stage performing alongside her. how does that happen? does she call, text, her people e-mail. the connection how is it made. >> her musical director got in touch with matt i believe through facebook funny enough. yeah. we were just asked to a bunch of rehearsals don the performance we flew out to la immediately and it was like an incredible experience. just awesome. >> it didn't take long to say yes to that, did it. >> it did not the. >> the performance itself you see -- even if you look it up now online you see who is the sacks player for beyonce' look at those dudes moves. what was that like being a part of that experience. >> it was amazing. sole people that called me immediately and teched me is that you, is that you, i can't believe it. and, um, yeah just inc
