temperatures, 76 now in dc, but ge b pittsburgh it's 62. 46 in chicago, 53 in detroit, and notice the wind direction ahead of the front all from the south and on the other side, a west wind that can be a warm direction, it will swirl around this big upper level area of low pressure, it will begin the pressure of parking up here a few days, tomorrow winds gusting from 25 to 35 miles, that's again another breezy day but the difference is the breezes out of the west will really dry things out. we're not talking about a humid day. kind of warm, temperatures into the 70's. we'll keep the 60's on the other side of the mountains. a bit of a cool start tomorrow morning. around 62 degrees at 8:00. dry conditions, but then we pop up to about 72 by the noon hour, breezy, and by 4:00, 78 degrees. also breezy. if not gusty out there. again, lots of dry weather, we're going to head for 78 in dc, 73 for manassas and culpeper. maybe upper 60's as we look to the north and west.

later this week, we have a new system to talk will be approaching. that is going to spread rain in here thursday evening, is what we think right now. as that slow moving system passes by our area, could produce rounds of rain, soaker possible on friday, maybe even some imbedded thunder and then this system is also going to park to north and just sit there and swirl and bring in chances for a couple more showers light stuff over the weekend. more importantly, a cool pool of a air. >> by friday, it looks wet at 71 with showers beginning late on thursday, then cooler for the weekend. they will be drying out going on saturday and sunday, can't rule out a couple of showers here and there could be a little bit of pin wheeling moisture but mid 60's, saturday, sunday, monday, will feel a little bit like an early april setback complete with rain.
