revealed highly classified information to senior russian officials. the washington post standing by its story that the info was shared during a meeting last week in the oval office. >> white house and the president national security adviser strongly deny the report and the russian foreign ministry has also come out denying now the president's own tweet actually seems to contradict that. allison is back now with the latest. al? >> good morning, holly. and this really isn't legal question. the president has brought authority when it comes to dee classifying intelligence but did he go too far even inadvertently? because this involves russians democrats have been wick to pile on. >> what happened in this meeting? president donald trump in the oval office with russia's foreign minister and u. ambassador last week. according to a report in the washington post, as the conversation shifted to aviation security, the president disclosed classified information about isis provided by another country. he didn't mention the sourc

turkey president -- turkey's president this afternoon and speak by phone to jordan king. both of those calls will also focus on the on-going syrian civil war. meanwhile president trump's former rival is getting back into politics. hillary clinton announcing on twitter the launch of onward together project encourages people to get involved organize and even run for office. clinton said howard dean former presidential candidate and next governor would be involved but no word on exactly what role he will play. the gop was quick to criticize the movement calling the new group her old campaign under a new banner. >> now let's talk about fox5 exclusive in the murder investigation of dnc staff seth rich. >> nearly a year after seth rich was killed a private investigator says he has evidence that could link rich's murder to his work with the dnc. that disputes d.c. police's claim he was killed in a botched robbery and we're just learning more layers may be involved here as well. melanie alnwick live in northwest with the exclusive details. mel? >> reporter: good morning, guys. i

rich's family through their attorney saying that the private investigator was someone who offered his services to their family and was paid for by a third party and they only learned of this possible e-mail connection through reports in the press. now, as for that e-mail connection, a private investigator contacted fox5, told us that he has evidence that there is information on seth rich's laptop computer that shows he was communicating with wikileaks prior to his death. let's take you back to that crime scene. that was july 10th, 2016. it was a sunday night. seth rich was walking home after being in a bar late night. he wasn't far from his house in the bloomingdale neighborhood. police on patrol heard gunshots. seth rich was alive when they got to him but he died at the hospital. dc police have said that one of the theories they're working on this was a robbery attempt. there had been many robberies in the neighborhood at that time but nothing was

rich. 12 days after his murder that's when wikileaks dumped a huge cash of e-mail from the dnc where seth rich work. that and $20,000 reward put up by wikileaks leader julian assange what fueled all of this conspiracy speculation. the family's private investigator rod wheeler believes there's a cover up and he says the d.c. police department was told to back down on the investigation. >> i have a source inside the police department that had looked at me straight in the eye and said, rod, we were told tooo can't share any information with you. now, that's highly unusual for a murder investigation. especially from a police department. again, i don't think it comes from the chief's office. but i do believe there is a correlation between the mayor's office and the dnc. >> reporter: now i talked with d.c. police depth this morning, and they said of those allegations made by rob wheeler -- rod wheeler they are

that no one would ever tell d.c. homicide detectives to stand down on an investigation. now, wheeler has promised to provide fox5 with hard evidence with documents an report showing all of those alleged contacts between seth rich and wikileaks. the number of contacts and when they happen. we have not received that report as of yet. but i did tell you guys that we just got e-mail from seth rich's family as well, and they said basically, let's see. we have seen no facts, we've seen no evidence. we've -- we've not begun approached with any e-mails and they go on to say, even if e-mail was uncovered, it is not a high enough bar of evidence to prove any interactions as e-mails can be altered and they've seen that those int interested in conspiracies will stop at nothing to do so. so, again, so many different layers here. a lot of questions. is there a laptop? is that evidence? what is it on it? who has access to it? so many more things we need to follo

here at fox5. back to you guys. >> is the family -- i'm trying to keep this clear, mel, when it comes to this investigator who was the former d.c. homicide detective and the family. the family is not paying him. they did not higher him to investigate but they're aware that he's been investigating? is that accurate? >> reporter: that's according to this e-mail that again i just received right before we went on air. they say "the services of the private investigator who spoke to the press was offered to the rich family and paid for by a third party. they go on to say that he was contractually bar the from speaking to the press or anyone outside of law enforcement unless expli explicittedly authd by the family but the e-mail does not go on to say they authorized him to do so. but does it say at the top they only learned of these allegations through the press. >> where is rod wheeler now? >> reporter: good question. we did reach out to him this morning asking him to come on fox5. we're still working on trying to

deanwood or the minnesota avenue metro stations for the next month. buses are replacing trains between here, new carrollton, and stadium armory. now, these are limited free shuttle buses this bus right here closest to us is going to take people to each of those metro stops along the way. ending up at stadium armory. and they're free but do you need your smart trip card to like tap on to the device here you'll get rebate eventually. you see they've got lot of people in those yellow vests out here directing people around. they're also more frequent express shuttle buses which will head south to blue line stations like morgan boulevard from here to get people on train there is to get them into their job locations in the city. now, a lot of people getting here to new carrollton also hopping on to marc trains. again no metro train service for the next month. this east end of the orange line now orange line trains from northern

metro says are running near normal service between vienna and largo town center. silver line trains running every 12 minutes between wiehle reston east and stadium armory. here's one of those shuttle buses heading out it will make every stop. so the commute is happening but it's going to take a lot longer for people to get there. metro says they roughly have 18,000 riders daily computers this is affecting and what they're basically doing during this surge 15 is replacing more than 12 miles of track that's 6 miles in each direction everybody we've been asking lately has been kind of long faced just like this guy at seven and 8:00 o'clock this morning people were pretty upbeat going to give themselves more time. but those who are traveling later the last few we've been approaching have kind of giving us the hand and said another metro case to deal with. that's it, guys. no train service on the orange line for a bit. how you doing, ma'am, you going to be okay. >> i'm fine, thank you. >> reporter: that's it, guys. just a little more time to get where you're going because no trains only buses for

wizards season is officially over playing in the first game seven since 1979 the celtics were just too much to handle thanks to in a big part to the bench more specifically kelly. he had a career high in the playoffs. 26 points and helped boston bench out score the wizards reserves 48 to five. five. isaia thomas finished with 29 points. bradley biehl led the way for the wizards 38 points. including 24 in the second half. otto porter added john. john wall, marquis morris finished with 18 but washington they also had 15 turnovers leading to 17 celtics points. final 105-115. i'm more disappointed we loss more than anything. i don't care how wl i played. i don't care if i played bad. the end result only thing that matters getting a win. you know, so, these stats really don't mean too much of nothing. >> it's tough. you know what i mean, we came out here game
