>> the city firing one police officer ends up spending another, both involved in the shooting death of tamire rice. >> that 12 year old boy shot and killed by police in 2014. while he was playing with a pellet gun. authorities say officer timothy low man fired the fatal shot, the twist is he was fired on inaccurate details, not the shootingment his partner officer frank, was driving the patrol car that skidded to a stop near the boy. he is suspended for ten days, for violating a rule, involving his approach to the scene. also, for failing to notify the commands center when he and low man alive at the scene where rice was eventually shot. >> people will say it wasn't enough, it was too much. after, you know, over two years of investigation, by our agency, the county prosecutor's offers, the cher is i have's department, i think we're come to what we

cause d.c. \police\police have long had noaa no chase policy but one driver questioned whether that changed after she saw. the driver shot what she saw on camera. that's right, jim. she says that she was on east capital street and benning road yesterday when she saw what appeared to be police chasing

atv rider. we'll get you right to the video that she september us. there were several riders and you can see police are behind them and then the squad car follows one rider right up on the grass. the woman who filmed this is alit a chambers. we just talked to her. she says the no chase policies a good one because it can make a bad situation worse. she wasn't happy to see this and had some safety concerns. in just the last few minutes i did hear back from mpd about this situation. what they are telling us is that yesterday a person illegally operating an atv started throwing bricks at officers striking the windshield of an mpd cruiser and narrowly missing an officer, that the suspect fled on an atv. officers tracked him down with the help of a helicopter, eventually arresting him inside an apartment. again, just got that statement, but there are still some additional questions, specifically was

really one person that has been at the center of that conversation, press secretary sean spicer. now, all eyes were on him today at this h on camera press breesmght you may recall before the president's trip abroad he only had one on camera press briefing that week before, ress briefings during that trip abroad so today there was a loft attention placed on this briefing and i spoke with tan yeah right man she is a body language expert about what we can take away before the presentation we can take away behind the podium of that press secretary. she says there is a tremendous dwirches in the man we saw today from what we used to see from sean spicer. take a listen. today we see a completely different sean spicer. somebody who is very adamant. if you notice in the beginning, he completely read the notes, much not eye contact which he normally does do. he went much faster in reading his notes than he normally

>> over the past couple of days we've seen an up tick in violence in one northwest dw c antibody had. police responded to three separate shootings over a three-hour period. one of the shootings happened at q and first streets northwest. no one was seriously hurt. on saturday one man was hurt when several other people opened fire. it's unclear if those shootings are treatmented at this time. residents say enough is enough. they want the violence to stop so they took to the streets this afternoon to send a message to people who are committing these crimesment you are not wanted

peter newsham joined the residents and talked specific lip about the weekend shootings that took place. it looks like this particular offense was a toorg gettedded attack. we had two mails that drove up in a vehicle and opened fire on a group of people. they were either looking for someone in particular or shooting at the group, which is the type of thing these neighbors aren't going to tolerate that kind of thing. police are still looking for the two gun men involved in saturday's shooting. they want to hear with anyone about information about that attack. stealing a veteran's bald for example l statue on memorial day weekend is pretty unpatriot. navy veteran captain says it happened early sunday morning. surveillance video shows the two men drive by once and then pull into the property and start ripping the statute you from its base. i was shaking uncontrollable.

promote some clearing. warmer weather could also lead to a thunderstorm as well. thursday does look beautiful. it is definitely the best day of the forecast because the unsettled weather pattern resumes very quickly. it's been all about the cloud cover today visible satellite shows going back over three hours and persistent mist over d.c. areas. it's been slowly eroding and over the past couple of hours you can see the clearing over the district. the bright white behind it that would be thunderstorm. you give them a little bit of sunshine and a little bit of heat and they start to peak in this type of environment. some areas of showers and thunderstorms one the center of the storm warning which was just issued south and east of warrington for portions of facultative certificate questioner, prince william and stafford counties. that is l until 6:30 for the next 30 minutes or so a ton of lightening being picked up with this cluster
