congress is off, of course, for the july 4th holiday but then negotiations continue during the recess. the president wants republicans to rally behind the latest version of the bill but so far it has mixed reviews. top white house official tells fox news congress should repeal now and replace later. and while all that is going on it's president trauma's tweets that are once again dominating the news cycle. yesterday the president posted a video that critics say advocates violence against the media but supporters say, he's simply fighting back against unfair coverage. >> this is a week where the white house is hoping to make some progress on health care reform behind the scenes, but for better or for worse, it's that cnn tweet stealing the s show. >> what's going to happen? >> what was donald trump trying to say is this tweet he posted a doctored version of the pro less link mock video showing him taking bound cnn. once again pushing the boundaries of social media and even one republican strategist said, it

>> he is going to get somebody killed in the media. maybe that will stop him. >> the president's home land security adviser was asked about it. >> that seems like a threat. >> certainly not, though. i know no one would perceive that as threat. i hoe then don't. he's beaten on cable platforms he has right to respond to. >> it's one more skirmish in a battle against cnn and msnbc for many of the president's 33 million twitter followers it is all part of an effort to change the way washington works. but the actual impact on capitol hill isn't so clear. at a time when the senate republican health care plan hasn't made headway the white house is now talking about possibly repealing obama care first and replacing it later. >> it's a way that we look at it to say if the replace many part is too difficult to come together let's go back and take back of the first step and repeal. >> now we've asked was you think of the president's wrestle mania tweet.

foreign dictator. so they're finding it that goes both ways for them. a few week ago donald trump was speaking about how we need to unify and tone down a rhetoric after a congressman was shot. it not going to be long. we're seeing violence against journalists in this country and in other countries. that something is going to happen to some journalist. >> hadas gold herself the victim of threats against her life while the president was then campaigning. so she knows first hand how ugly things can get very quickly. zoey certainly hope that there is no such violence and then it just beg the question morning social media world, is it real? i mean is it real if it's on social media versus in real life. >> reality or is it -- >> right. >> more like she lighten up it's not an actual threat or is it a threat? like how do you -- it's like when you text someone and you say, well i can't tell

>> right. and that's what i think that he continues to rhee create that perception. >> which goes back to playing towards a certain base. that base believes in him. anything he says they'll go for it. >> all right. 9:10 is our time. we want to get to oh big local story of the morning the search for killer in prince george's county. this comes after after man was found shot dead in his car on the beltway. fox5's anjali hemphill at the prince george's county police headquarters. she joins us now live with the latest. anjali. >> reporter: good morning, guys. the details of this case have not only baffled the victim's family but also investigators, a father of four, found shot to death behind the wheel of his own car that was parked in the middle of the beltway. the victim has been identified as 55-year-old adriano lombre of upper marlboro. police say it was just before midnight on saturday when an officer driving on the beltway happened to drive up on lombre's white m

stoped in the middle of the travel lanes on the outer loop near the pennsylvania avenue exit. inside the officer spotted lombre behind the wheel. he had been shot several times. his car also had several bullet holes in it, and they found shell casings on the ground nearby. police say they have not received any tips so far. even though it's a busy holiday weekend and they do believe there were witnesses on the beltway that may have seep what happened, fox5 also spoke to lombre's daughter who told us he did have a party, a gathering of some sorts at his home that night. he had gone to drive some of his friends home, and he was on his way back. he even called her and said he was 15 minutes out from the house but he never return. >> most caring dad you can ever have. he was very caring. i'm going to miss our talks, like, we would literally talk every day. he'd asked me to come in his room, you know, have a little chat literally every day. i'm going to miss them. >> just hope some none will come forward with something that could help them s

>> wis, first up, 18 people unaccounted for and feared dead after a bus caught fire. that's after a crashing into a truck in southern germany at least 30 people have been hurt. the bus was completely burned out. officials say it crash into the truck as the truck was stopped at the end of a traffic jam. new jersey governor chris christie shut down beaches, state run parks, recreational areas, forests and historical sites until the government can agree on a budget over the weekend christie was spotted lounging at a state beach that's not open to the public. he says he's using state helicopter to travel back and worth from the governor's residence at park. 38-acre data center in prince george's county is threatening a an african neighbor. a subsider of amazon plans to build two warehouses in mark. it would install 100-foot tall. the facilities will handle 70% of the world's internet traffic. some lawmakers are looking at ways to halt the project. in

let me mention it's going to be humid as well as hot. any time the due point temperatures are above 65 you'll really notice the humidity out there. make sure you have plenty of water it won't take lot to get overheated in this environment with heat index near 100 later today. quiet, we've got little bit of cloudiness off to the north and women. nothing real toll fire up storms later today. i will throw out there yesterday we weren't expecting storms. we had one lonesome shower pop up across the north side of the beltway and move across the city it's not -- the situation here is not ideal for showers and storms but we could see one or two fire up later today. isolated risk for a thunderstorm or shower later this afternoon. best chance will be a little further north. little back door cold front will slide in overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning. that will give us a better chance for some scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. anything we get around here tomorrow will be widely scattered. we're not going to have lot of storms but we got to look out for one or two tomorrow afternoon future cast tonight at 10:30 all clear. very warm

countless success stories here's a look how it's happening a teen naped cynthia reyes. >> so i started in a shelter. i started cutting myself, and attempted out side p.m. time i met donna and miss rhonda and everybody. i started volunteering, and -- she's going to be one of our paid administrators. >> yay! >> so i started volunteering and they have supported me through all of it. >> all right. that is just one story of how this organization is helping combat a growing problem. homelessness and next coach gruden and his wife and family everyone involved with mobile hope will be hosting a special fun raising first annual harm mon knee for hope. it's

judges, singers, karaoke competition and auction all again for this worthy but before the fun begins we're sitting down one-on-one within the grudens they stopped by the loft to talk bout event. the prediction for the upcoming season as well. good morning to both of you. >> good morning. >> thank you for coming in. first of all, what beautiful couple. >> yes. yes. >> so good looking. they're not bad, right they're not bad. >> so awesome. so you're in the strangers to charities. you've done plenty. but were about it about mobile hope that made you okay we need to jump in and help out? >> well i think the biggest thing was we wanted to get involved in our own community and, um, we had children that are between 18 and 26 ourselves and to find that there were over 2,000 precariously placed youth at that age group just in our backyard is what really struck a note with us. >> coach, were you shocked that, you know, homelessness clearly doesn't discriminate doesn't matter where you're fresh doesn't matter how old you a

of different people, and loudoun county one of the richest counties in the country. >> you just don't see it around the streets you know but it's there. it's evident, and mobile hope is a great chance for to us help out in the community where we live so close and give back a little bit hopefully we can have an impact. >> when the people see you coach, because i mean, you are a big deal around here this team a big deal when they see you and your involve many in this what's been the response so far? >> this is the first event we've done right here. we're just getting it off the ground a little bit as sherry's idea to do the karaoke deal and get people involve and get celebrities involved and get our players involve. our players do a great job they work with other charities within the redskins foundation so trying to work hand in hand with that and do good thing. let's talk specifically about how in depth mobile hope is helping change lives. so we've got that great big van that we showed a picture of and it is literally pulling up into parking lots and there are hundreds of people in line waiting to receive just basic things. things that you

and coach use every day to take for grand every day we're talking tooth brushes. >> right. >> little simple things, right. >> exactly. all the like personal hygiene items, um, medical care, band-aids, school supplies, um, just your daily searches that you don't even think about, you know these kids are in need of, and are so grateful to receive. >> how do get people get involved. >> people will see this and see what you're doing here. how do good threat involved. >> i mean the biggest way i think we're going to have the phone number available to them, but just volunteer either their time or donate some items, maybe some have some type of drive where they work or whatnot. they can use anything like i you said tooth brushes, shampoos, um, but, yeah, just little left things can make a difference. >> we shall really give a special shout out to donna real quick donna the founder executive director of this am amazing group. it started off very small in 2011 and did a career transition to really focus on this. of course it takes a village, but let's talk about do and in a and her efforts,

>> yeah. i mean they've really pulled it together and grown. they starred in a really really small kind of shed like barn like facility in loudoun county and now they received someone actually i think donated the space for them so they have a nice big center now where 18 to 24-year-olds kids who are lo looking to, um, just make their lives better can actually come, get live skills, they help them with job placement, they help them with living arrangements. so they actually have a place now that they can go to and donna is responsible for all of that. >> that's mazing this fop laser we're kick on august 25th at 5:00 o'clock i'm going to be helping you with that event. we encourage everyone to come out it's $50 ticket and this money is goiing to help towards the direct cause, right. >> absolutely. and so now we have to talk football.
