i'm really excited about this. it's an exhibit called high at the national building museum in washington and it's creating a lot of buzz. it's part of the art installation series. fox's steve rap port takes us inside. a new interactive art installation dubbed the live is taking over the great haul of the national building museum in washington, d.c. standing more than 60 feet tall, the exhibit is part of the museum's annual block party series. we wanted to go high. we wanted to make something that had some monumentality, but at the same time certain intimacy and so we did it. it's the tallest structure that's ever been done inside. it's made from 2500 interlocking cardboard cylinders. the two painted inside are paint ed silver and ma gent a. the ma gent a collar was

ed return from battle l. fox5's ronica cleary has the story. i'm here with matt meers of war whether or k9 connection. matt, your story is more than one of working warrior k9 connection. you came in connection with this organization because they actually helped you. my tank was destroyed in an ambush. eventually i made it back to walt walter reed and i was hooked up with a k9. these are about ate weeks old. these guys will be service dogs for disabled veterans. what makes your organization different than other organizations that do good as well. >> all of the organizations that raisin train service dogs are wonderful. what makes us different is that involvement, giving purpose to people

they didn't have one anymore. this gave me a mission again. it gave me a sense of pride and purpose that helped me recover. i know that dogs don't have names yet. tell us why. tell us why they'll be named. it really gives us a meaning. these will all be named after fallen service members. my dog is named after a helicopter pilot who was killed in afghanistan. what is special about p this program is building the community, bringing together people who have served and people who want to serve still. the land here is pretty amazing. quickly tell us about how the state of maryland also supports this organization. absolutely, the state of maryland has a program where they incentivise organizations that work in the veteran nonprofit space. we are on an 80-acre dairy farm that has been lease to us by

storms pulse with the heat of the day. they are not thunderstorms. they are weakening, all these little tea showers. south of 66 around gatesville. now it's barely a shower. severe thunderstorm moved through portions of frederick and northern montgomery county earlier this afternoon. your planning forecast tomorrow your temperatures will not be as hot. we've had several days well into the 930s, but 77 by 8:00 a.m. humid and cloudy out there. 82 by nature, a high temperature of just 85-degrees. fox futurecast as we head into tomorrow, here's what to expect, showers ending overnight, just cloudy skies for the drive in. notice all the showers that start to pop. incoming storm system will increase the chance for moisture by the time we get into early thursday morning. wednesday doesn't look particularly active, but by thursday morning you have some showers along the
