police used water cannons to force away protesters from streets and the fighting began after police asked protesters to take off their black hoods. the biggest story from that summit, though, today's ming between president trump and his russian counterpart vladimir putin. they will have a separate meeting in just a couple of hours now. now, they did meet briefly before this morning's meeting with other world leaders. president trump has said he wants to find ways to work with putin. no word yet on what the two plan to discuss exactly. the trump administration says the president plans to focus though primarily on disputes in syria and ukraine. fox foss' doug luzader has more and this highly anticipated meeting. >> reporter: certainly members of congress who have been pushing for investigations into russian election hack log be watching very closely today to see if that subject comes up in this high stakes head to head meeting. the clashes have already begun. a tense morning in germany after some standoffs between police

violent. the crowds are here for a number of reasons. opposing capitalism, climate change and many no doubt unhappy with president trump who arrived yesterday. greeted by german chancellor and frequent trump critic angela merkel but this is the meeting that will generate a great deal of attention later today. president trump sitting down with russian president vladimir putin. the white house really won't say much about it. >> part of that no one really wants to predict what president trump is going to do and i think a lot of don't know what he's going to do. he tends to be pretty free wheeling in those sort of circumstances. >> reporter: this morning on twitter the president wrote "i look forward to all meetings today with world leaders including my meeting with vladimir putin. much to discuss ". u.s. allies looking for more pressure on putin who is seeking to expand russian influence. >> but you've also got to be úvery clear what russia has been doing in the ukraine and other areas of the world is completely unacceptable. we've got to get russia back into the norms of international behavior. >>

also under pressure from democrats at home to bring up russian meddling in last year's us election. yesterday he acknowledged that russia may have played a role. >> well, i think it was russia and i think it could have been other people and other coun countries. could have been a lot of people interfered. >> reporter: and as far as this meeting is concerned, on the u.s. side, just a small contingent. the president, secretary of state rex tillerson and the translator. in washington, doug luzader, fox news. and backout here at home protests planned and around dc courthouse. one of the inauguration day rioters set to appear before a judge for the first felony plea sentencing since that day. >> fox5's bob barnard is live in northwest now outside the courthouse with the latest. bob? >> reporter: hey, allison, erin, you see dc police here, but they're here only because there was a suspicious package left in front of the d.c. superior court house here and they this front entrance closed for bit. we thought it was because of the planned protest they pointed out that

has since been cleared. right now, even though they called for this protest at 9:00 o'clock, we really only see a handful of people here and they're just kind of scattered they're not organize yet. and they're here because right now up in second floor courtroom one of those protesters from inauguration day is about to find out his sentence. he is plead guilty to one count of felony rioting and one count of assault on a police officer. we're told he's facing one to three years in prison. he had faced several other charges including that he was one of the people who smashed the window at the starbucks store here on january 20th as donald trump was taking the oath of office among 230 people who were arrested that day, 212 of tultimate and charged in the pla deal for this man. his name is dane powell. 31 years old from largo, florida. that's down near st. petersburg, tampa area. he was also apparently caught on

bricks at police officers hence the felony assaulting a police officer charge. so right now he is one of the few who is struck a deal with the government to plead guilty again facing up to three years in prison. and he's getting a lot of support from people on facebook, a page called resist this and they put out this notice calling for today's rally here at the courthouse. we must show him and the state that he is not forgotten and that we will continue to resist. again, they were hoping for dozens of people to be out here on the street and for the courtroom to be packed with supporters for this mr. powell from florida who is about to learn his fate so far, guys, just not a lot of people here yet this morning. guys, but we'll stick around and let you know how things go. all right. thanks bob. happening tonight there will be meeting for parents in charles county as the investigation continues into a former public school's employee. police are investigating

game last night, things got a little weird and you might justt the game didn't even start until after 10:00. it didn't end until about 1:00 in the morning after three hour rain delay. here's the thing though. no rain fell on the field for about two hours. after the game was supposed to start. a lot of fans did decide to leave. but, hey, if those of you decided to stick around you got some free water, soda and ice cream. a little incentive for sticking it out. the players were a little more than more than frustrated. washington the was the first to score. in the sixth game tied at two. the braves kirk suzuki blast add solo homer to break the tie. the nats bats couldn't get anything. atlanta won five to two and more bad news for the nats last ni night. center fielder michael taylor strained an oblique and is headed to the ten day disable list. game two of the four game series is tonight at 7:05. better luck to the nats this evening. that's tollly weird. >> that is weird. >> isn't that weird? >> yeah. >> strain your

you guys have that responsibility to say, look, we'll teach you what we know but, you know, there's responsibility that goes along with that. >> definitely. >> how do you translate that to the kids in that age? >> i mean, honestly it's platform for us to address a lot of issues. not just football. you know we're talking about education, emphasize the importance of education to them that, you know, there won't be any sports without, you know, getting your edge geishan getting your degree. so we emphasize things like that and respect and things like team work and we illustrate all those throughout the camp and one thing we're looking forward on top of having fun. >> and for both of you, this point with your res respective careers in the league i would think the other lesson just because you get to the league it doesn't mean the game is over at that point. you have to keep hustling every step of the way, right? >> definitely. i mean, just because you get there, upping, they say it's hard to get there it's even harder to stay.

circumstances with peter parker becoming spiderman obviously fighting with the avengers and captain america civil war and now wanting to be an avenger and take on more missions but also the idea of him being high school student. that's what real grounds this film and make this film work it's funny. it feels realistic. the washington, d.c. monument sequence is unbelievable. now i will say this. they are releasing this movie in i max 3d. that one particular scene the monument is worth the i max 3d but if you don't want to spent the extra money see in it 2d. there are two ending credit scenes in the film meaning when the movie ends, stay through the entirety of credits you'll see two scenes. one in the middle and one at the end. i loved michael keaton as vulture he did great job. this film is a lot of fun. it's a big summer blockbuster that really has everything you want with drama, comedy and action. it's my favorite spiderman since spiderman two. tom holland is a great job. you'll be nerding out i loved how i
