out of the home at the time. at least one neighboring house was damaged when heat from that fire pelt melt melled some of the siding. in prince george's county, the search for killer continues after a deadly double shooting. >> it happened near a popular fast food restaurant one of those victims ran to the restaurant for help before they died. melanie alnwick live at the scene in suitland with the latest. good morning, mel. >> reporter: good morning. that caused some of the confusion here on the scene, because when prejudice county police came here initially they put out information that it was a single hmm side. then coming here finding that one of the victims had gone to the pop eyes restaurant shortly there after. it became a couple homicide. let's take to you some of the video from the scene. you can see a very large police response here on silver hill road. it happened about 7:30 last night. so we had in a way two scenes. one in an alley in between a pawn shop and a dry cleaners. that is where one victi

found dead. pronounced on the scene. the second victim who ran to the popeye's came -- ran there to get help and prince george's county fire and rescues went and responded there. also two prince george's county police officers who were close to the scene came and applied what they call trauma kits. that man was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. as wore of the shootings circulated. people gathered at the scene trying to see if they knew anyone because many people were familiar with folks who hung out in this area. now, police have not released the names of the victims in this case so far. i can tell you by looking at social media at least one of victims a lot of friends posting that he was the kind of person who tried to steer clear of trouble. we don't know the circumstances at this point that led up to that shooting. another factor that is somewhat puzzling at this point is prince george's county police at least as of last night said they were still trying to determine if the two victims shot each other

if there is some other sub inspect or suspects out there who were involved in this incident. it is a crime solver's case. $25,000 reward. of course, prince george's county police asking anyone who knew these victims or has information about the circumstances leading up to this to please give them a call. this is now the ninth and tenth homicide in prince george's county in the last eight days. live in suitland, melanie alnwick, fox5 local news. >> thanks mel. 90:00 sick is the time. man suspected of killing his stepfather in bowie maryland taking a picture of the body and posting it to social media will make his first court appearance today. charging documents say navar beverly responsible for the death of ronald pink me. officers were called to the home early saturdy morning. they found the man's body in the garage. now as police investigated, detectives made a gruesome discovery. beverly allegedly posted a selfie of himself on twitter standing next to the body. beverly was arrested a short time later. police say he

bakely between friendship heights and medical center. and it's more evident when you go down below down in the tunnels where the trains actually operate. the water intrusion has led a lot of those arcing insulator cases where the water hits the electronics down there and the electrical systems then will short throw spoke into the tunnels. cause all kinds of delays here along the red line and in some of the other lines as well. here along the red line starting tonight metro is going to be single tracking after 9:00 p.m. between friendship heights and medical center to start the work. they're basically going to be boring holes into the tunnel injecting a grouting system that's kind of like a rubber arrarrived the grouting system coating the outside of the tunnels ideal toll stop the water from leaking into the tracks basically. and then, over the next four weekends, they'll be no red line service at all from friendship heights to grosvenor. shuttle buses but no red line service the

relapse. collins promised her weight loss for the film was quote safe. many professionals say that's really not possible. our next guest is one of the movies critics who offered a recent column to the huffington post sharing her concerns much joining us this morning to talk about the dangers of eating disorder the road to recovery and the danger this new film poses is jennifer rolling who holds as masters in social work season a licensed certified social work. amanda, overcome her own struggles with anorexia. >> good morning to both of you. >> good morning. thanks for coming in. when you are first see trailer on the outset some people may say this is great it's bringing attention to real problem, and you know, maybe it could help start a discussion. but you're saying there's so much more to it. >> yeah. and so while i'm happy that this trailer might be prompting a discussion, i think it's incredibly concerning to see these eating disorder behaviors depicted on film. so we see in the trailer

close up visual of a her scene drinking coffees as breakfast while these things a lone won't cause an eating disorder for somebody with underlying genetic pre disposition to develop one of these illnesses this could be the environmental stressor that triggers their illness to develop. >> so you mean by watching this show they could actually -- it could actually have them start doing these behaviors because they want to be like that person or is there this side where well you might actually have it i don't look like that so my problem really isn't that bad? >> yeah. i think it's two fold. first one big concern that this could serve as a how to manual and glamorize eating disorders with people for underlying genetics it is a brain based illness the second piece it highlights a young emaciated caucasian female. while certainly there are people with eating disorders who look like that eating did you orders don't doctors kim 98 they impact people of all races, jents, weights and

fear that people would view this trailer and think i'm not sick enough which again is a common eating did you order thought comparing yourself to other people and saying i don't look emaciated i didn't faint. i am in my fours i can't have an eating disorder and causing them to not get help. >> the one thing i found interesting in talking about the star of the show amanda you can comment on this, she said she had anorexia, and so she's recovering from it and so for this role she lost weight in a quote healthy way. >> right. >> your reaction to that. >> i think, you know, as someone who's had an eating disorders and recovered that there really is no healthy way to lose weight after an eating disorder. it's really difficult for me and i know a lot of girls who have gone through it to do things like eat clean or like work out a lot. even those little things can be triggering so i think trying to lose weight is definitely -- there is no healthy weight. it automatically triggers that in your brain. >> my question is, because i have someone very close to me in my life that

you ever really recovered in the past tense or are you always recovering because i know for the person close to me it's something that she battles every day. she constantly has to work at it. >> yeah. so i believe that full recovery is possible and that's what i see. again, you know, that can look different for everyone that could be a long journey which often is not linear. people might have steps forward in recovery, they might have steps back, but i do believe that -- i see this with clients that you can find full freedom from this with access to treatment and support. >> so how better should they have done this show in -- both of yours pins? >> it's hard because i think it's really difficult to make a movie about eating did you orders without glamorizing it and while i think that the director and the actress had great intentions, i think that showing any of these triggering images they should have stayed away from calorie counts and extreme thinness, um, and i think maybe really focusing on the recovery aspect and highlighting less of the symptoms and the illness

we know that for people with that genetic pre disposition seeing some of these images can quickly become a how to manual that were trigger their eating did you order. >> it also help someone? because that is a real part of it, that is a real part of the story and how the disease works somebody people's lives. >> yeah. i work on -- life isn't black and white, right. things aren't all good or all bad so i think that there's definitely some positives of this film. i'm on tv talking about that it. >> sure. >> starting a conversation and more people reach out to help in the past like couple of weeks and i think it was inn sparred by my helping them post the article and i also worry about my clients, about young minds that are being formed and shaped and how viewing this film could really glamorize again what is the deadliest mental illness. >> what would your suggestion be to a young person that wants to watch this show? should she watch it with their parents? what should they talk about before or after? >> i think watching with their parents would

there. there it is. it's a military helicopter from andrews air force base. according to takoma park employees it suffered mechanical issues pick the middle of the field to land. you can see someone on board there and the rotator is sto stopped. this is lee jordan field right off piney branch road in the takoma park area, and all seems to be well. we've just gotten here and frankly have not approach the pilot and crew that is sitting here in the middle of this fi field. but all seems to be all right except for they're having kind of mechanical issue. it doesn't look like anybody was hurt on the helicopter or on the field. as you can see behind it one back stop with girls softball practice going on and off to the heft here off camera there's another one. so this is clearly a camp field. a setting where there are a couple of camps here and this helicopter came down and landed here within the last half hour or so. i'm certain that andrew ace force personnel are on their way here to

there's so many different, um, real life issues but, of course, the drama is for television. so they're blown up to capacity. >> executive producer is the star jones. so is this based on the view? >> i think she wrote what she knew. i mean it is a fictitious back say tans sisters she did it when she actually had heart surgery and the doctor said we want you to do something that will exercise your brain. because you've lot of brain cells so she kind of wrote what she knew, and she had a novel by the time she was finish. i think, you know, between her interviews and people that she work with, i think there are a lot of different things that she's pulled from her experience but this is drama. i mean if you -- you tune in to daytime divas you'll know that a lot of the things that are definitely over the top and but there's also seeds of something that might have happened to s star. >> what drew you to this role? >> what drew me i

she is very persuasive as you know and she called me at home. i was cooking dinner and she said, listen, i have a ten episode guarantee vh1. holding this property for five years. when i wrote this role i had you in mind. you're my first go to. please read it and see what you think. and i read the pilot, and i read the book after she told me that it was based on the book, and i thought, well, this could kind of be fun. and so it was kind of a no brainer because susan de pass her product partner and i work with susan on the jackson family story years ago, so i knew susan's history. i knew star and as a friend and i knew that vh1 was invested in doing scripted because they were known for kind of their reality, and they wanted to kind of venture into this scripped series arena and i think they did a great job. >> i loved you in the jacksons by the way. look you've mastered it all, stage, music, film. but for

so ago, this second helicopter landed from joint base andrews. it landed in a couple of guys came out they're over here now trying to figure this thing out and see if they can get this helicopter working again to take off. here now you mentioned we did speak to captain chris mitchell one of the pilots on this helicopter that made an emergency landing here this morning. >> we're basically just flying normal training. flying around just south of beltway here and we got a caution light like a check engine light in your car. chip light in our tail rotor and we just basically started an approach here. >> reporter: all. all went well. you lapped right in the middle. >> it went well. these guys will come land right here to pick us up. >> reporter: and so that second helicopter and its crew of mechanics has done that. this is lee jordan field in the takoma park section here of montgomery county. we're right off piney branch road you can't really see it in the background a bunch o

we're taking elements the pineapple, coconut and adding a few other flavor elements it to. >> before you do this let me ask the bake question. what is pina colada always pineapple company could you nut or variations on it what's the deal here. >> basically always pineapple and company could you nut. sometimes it has regular milk as well. sometimes it's coconut milk but always those two flavors and rum. >> glenn, what do we have here? mixture of coconut and pineapple i assume. >> coconut with pineapple that's been smoked with cinnamon. and then for our coconut mix we actually steeped in lime to give it more of that citrus boost the reason i'm putting a little touch of ginger to give it botanicals as well. >> sounds like botannical connect as well. now we're getting to the good stuff. this is local color you're us using. proof meant to be used in over- blended or frozen cocktails. but it's made in sane michael, mary. >> which is fantastic. >> by over proof this is 94 proof coconut rum.

vermouth and another product made from baby cocoa nuts west two different times of rum. brew gallon has a nuttiness to it the local product is cotton and v dried spice rum a spiced rum not sweetened. which is really nice for our applications here. we're going to increase the pineapple flavor with fresh opinion apple chunks and make it richer with the coconut cream that we separate off and safe. >> we have a lot of stuff going on here. >> i'll let you ice it up. one of things that i heard the key to a good frozen drink make sure you have the pefect ice to drink mixture there. >> ratio. >> ratio. super important. because blended drinks are very difficult to make not super sweet and not too watery at the same time. so we are starting with crushed ice. that always helps to get your blended drink corr correctly ane start with usually two cups of ice per drink. >> okay. >> if you're adding
