storm activity no well organize storm activity until friday when we get a cold front in here. until 96 this afternoon hot and i'll be back in a couple of days with the seven day that looks like a lot like that the next couple of days. hazy, hot and humid the next couple of days. that's the latest from over h here. >> 12 murders in 11 days in prince george's county. >> latest killing coming after a double shooting overnight. there's a map of where those crime scenes have been bob barnard this morning with the latest scene in forestville with the story. bob? >> reporter: yeah, steve. six hours later police have just left the scene last thing they were looking at was this is the neighborhood pool here at fo forestville park. and one of the bullets that was fired here in an upper window there at this complex here around the pool has apparently been closed for about ten years. so they were trying to retrieve a bullet there. the victim who's were shot were actually found down here on the street here. this is the 1500 block of forest park drive

we can show you video from earlier that the scene this happened around 2:40 this morning. two men were shovel one them is dead. one in the hospital. they have no suspect information witnesses are telling us there were more than a dozen shots fired here and again whoever had the guns did the killing here are gone at this point. police did tow a car with virginia plates from the scene. as you mentioned this is the 12 many murder this month here in prince george's county. 13 if you include one in the city of green belt. the most recent was on sunday in suitland. silver hill road two men were shot and killed there. most recently the prince george's county police chief hank stawinski saying about this unusual spike in homicides that most of the cases people new each other and the gun violence was the result of long-standing disputes. at least some of the killings he said were

not sure what think one was all about. i to tell you police say they had about an 80% closure rate on the homicide cases so far this year. they have solved a couple of the murders from this month guys but this one a fresh one here early this morning in forestville with the killers loose one person dead and one wounded at the hospital this morning. guys? >> all right. bob, thank you. disturbing indeed. we also are following a developing story this one out of rural mississippi where the investigation continues into what brought down a marine aircraft with d deadly cons th kc130 refueling plane crashed into a soy bean field killing all 16 people on bore. debris field stretched for 5 miles lead leaving investigators to believe the& plane exploded hid air. the kc131 of the most extensively used planes in the military. fbi is now on the scene investigate

i was scared. i seen all the black smoke. it was horrifying. >> spokesperson for the marine corps said the plane experience add mishap but provide nod other details. we can expect to learn more at a news conference that is set for later today. back here in our region this morning things slowly back to normal at areas three major airports after widespread delays and cancellations for some passengers to have to camp out at the airport overnight all because of smoke filling the control room of the faa washington center in leesburg yesterday. our melanie alnwick has been tracking the impact all morning long joins us now from reagan national airport with the la latest. mel? >> reporter: good morning. many of those delays and cancellations were flights early this morning. at least the ones that continued into today. so we're starring to see those slowly come off of the board right now. i'm seeing two canceled departures here at reagan national, and

rifles and that's really good compared to when i got here this morning little before 4am there were more than 20 cancellations on the bore. many mr. departures so as we said things slowly get, back to normal. about 9:30 last night when that faa control center finally went back to full operations. but definitely caused a lot of problems yesterday. let's show you the video from skyfox. this was right after there was this emergency hazmat evac evacuation. at the faa washington center in leesburg. now this facility handles all high altitude flights. over 10,000 feet. over the dc region. so this evacuation of all personnel meant a full ground stop at the airport. it was about 6:30 in the evening. dozens of flights were heading into reagan, dulles and bwi. dozens more scheduled for take off and passengers really just had a tough time dealing with all the residual

>> airplane actually around 5:30 and then at 6:00 o'clock, um, okay, we can close the doors. then at about 6:30 they said okay we can't take off. we stayed on the plane until about 8:30, and then we finally got off and then wait add long time, you know, just wanted to get off but they -- they kept delaying us, delaying us, delaying us. eventually we got a hotel room. we got to the hotel room didn't have any rooms available. it was really -- we came back and slept at the airport. >> reporter: many people finally just had to give up and camp out overnight at the airport. something we really can't seen a lot of i would say i probably saw more than 20 people here who stayed at the airport overnight. in some cases they kept boeing told by the airlines just hang on, hang on it's possible we can get you out. as opposed to other airlines that said we're cancel. go find a place to stay for the evening. we see just one small

with children. his name a adam bryant. he was convicted in 2008 for traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual content with a minor as well enticing a child. he was fired by the city but if the city had used its own registry it could have flagged bryant before he was even hired. sources tell fox5 bryant was hired at the beginning of the year as an analyst for the protective services department. that's a law enforcement branch which is supposed to protect city rec centers and housing complexes. the department is also in charge of maintaining dc public sch schools. d.c. deputy mayor kevin donahue sent fox5 a statement that says... fbi is looking for for new home nor years we talk you about it many times where it would end up it

film where jokes can be made. can you talk about obviously finding that tone and being able to make that joke and how it plays off the way it does in the film with ray romano and holly hunter? >> i think the biggest trick with something like this is because we're dealing with serious subject matter and even though we want it to be a co comedy, we can't lose sight of the fact that there's a very real serious thing happening. so we said as long as the comedy comes from real situations, real characters and real situations and comes from actual awkwardness and sort of the stress that far one is under, then that will be funny. >> we also had set up the character due male makes really awful inappropriate jokes when it's uncomfortable kind of an osmole question that's pretty awful answer. it's great. >> more awful answer than the question. >> let's take a step back for a second. for people who aren't exactly what the premise of the story is, it's pretty amazing that it is you're all story and now you brought it

i had written about this experience, but i just tend to be little more private so it was something that we kind of talked through and had to come to terms with. i think a lot of the things that we fictional lied about really helped me feel more comfortable and the fact that's connecting to people and that people are kind of saying oh, my gosh, this reminds me of my life. that really really helps me feel about better about putting our own stuff out there. >> ultimately that's what this is going to sound so but that's what like being a person is. you show a part of yourself to someone else and you connect with them. you tell them your story. they tell you their stories and that's what has been great about this we got to tell our story and now we're hearing people tell us their stories of how of why they connected to our stories. >> that's one of the best things about this film if you follow this on twitter you'll see people tweeting to kumail about their own families again they dealt with cultural differences it's a very very interesting and well made film. i loved it it opens up nationwide this week but also already in limited release and going expanding more. thank
