completely inn sim 98ed montgomery county police car in the driveway there. pretty much unrecognizable. i also want to show you the intensity of the heat of these flames. so hot that 50 feet away next door the neighbor's house here you can see the wall the siding there also melted from the fire this morning. that started about 3:00 o'clock in the morning. so the people who lived here most likely waking up to the fire inside the house. crews were dispatched to this house fire. a single story ranch style home off haney avenue when they arrived they say the house was completely engulfed as well as the police cruiser parked in the driveway, and we're also told there was ammu am mew inside thr inside that police cruiser that went off in the fire causing several explosions. however, there were luckily no injuries. but you can see heavy damage to the home and that police car we're told is completely destroyed. at this time, the cause is still under investigation and i'm told that could take awhile as the

we are told two possible were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. host, it was just minor and they are expected to be okay. no word on the cause yet though. that's the latest here in damascus. anjali hemphill, fox 95 local news. >> thank you. 9:00 sorry fight right now want to take to you pennsylvania the latest on the death of four young men. 20-year-old cosmo dinardo has confessed to killing the four missing men in exchange prosecutors took the death penalty off the table. now the motive behind the killings appears to be drugs. dinardo says he sold the men marijuana and then he felt cheated and threatened during the drug transaction. he says he killed them separately and then burned their bodies. the suspect also told officials where the men are buried on his family's farm. so far the remains of one of the men has been identified. >> i don't understand the science behind but those dogs could smell these poor boys 12 and a half feet below the gr ground. >> also arrested second perso

plan was scrapped after so many gop senators opposed it. now changes to the bell are not sitting well with conservatives putting jeopardy again. here's what's different from the original senate bill. an additional $70 billion for states to create their own reforms savings accounts to be used to pay for premiums. $45 billion to battle the opioid epidemic and the ability to buy cheaper plans with less coverage but it's that last provision that bothers some moderates. if the young and healthy can buy bear bones adversary coverage prohibited under obamacare older sicker americans would have to foot more of the bill and their premiums could sky rocket. they also don't like that medicaid cuts remain. democrats remain solidly opposed so how much is all of this going to cost? the congressional budget office should have an estimate early next week. all right. time now 9:07. moving ceremony happening at the air force memorial in northern virginia involving a world war ii veteran and an overdue medal. bob barnard is there live this morning with this truly touching stor

>> reporter: hey, allison ceremony is just gun here at the air force memorial. the gentleman you see seated there is john pedivianno. he's 94. turns 95 next week lives in college park, married, and more than 70 years after the fact he is about to be award the purple heart this morning. the story is that when he was 22 years old, back on april 24th, 1944, 2nd lieutenant john pedivianno was in the army air core in a b-17 he was a bombardier one of the youngest in the army air core and was shot down over germany during world war ii. he was forced to ma march 300 miles, was held a prisoner at a nats camp for a year. he suffered frost bite to his feet during that long march to the prison camp. and was eventually released came home and lived a life and really didn't talk about his

in most, n recent years, he did share some of those stories with his family and they realized because he had been injured and suffered long life effects of the frost bite, that he was deserving of the purple heart. well, of course, they applied to the air force and the air force totally agreed, and so now in this ceremony that he's just getting underway, second lieutenant john pedivianno, 94 years old, is about to be award add purple heart. he was part of the 306 bombardier group a storied group of b-17s that did a lot of bombing runs over germany during world war ii and was one of many who was held prisoner for the last year of that war, and so here he is the ceremony just beginning and it's only going to be about 20 minutes, and we're streaming this life on fox5 d.c. as well. but we're here. we'll put a story together for later in the day. but just wanted to share this with you guys that this really tr

at jerusalem's lions gate overnight. three palestinian terrorists shot and killed two police officers at the temple mount in the old city of jerusalem. it's one of the world's holiest sites. israeli police detain a top muslim cleric in jerusalem. no word on what ties that person has to this deadly attack. next up a slow line of storms is on the move this morning. but not before causing severe problems in the midwest from flooding to power outages in illinois, indiana and ohio torrential rains wreaked havoc on commuters and local offi officials. speak can he kerr of house paul ryan was in his home state to see the damage if first hand and wisconsin governor scott walker declared a state of emergency in three counties because of the widespread flooding. a tourist on the caribbean island of saint march 10 has been killed by the blast of a jetliner taking off. the woman was from new seal lapped and she was knocked into a wall. apparently she was trying to hold on to a fence by the airport to feel the blast from the take off. i guess this is something -- >> it's a thing

haven't had chance to see this new reboot. but it looks fascinating and scary. >> yeah. it's scary and fascinating are two great words to describe it. this is the third film of the new rebooted franchise and the idea this time around caesar planned by andy ci sir going ona revenge mission to take down woody harrell roll son's character trying to eliminate the apes. he th thinks the humans are the superior species. the movie is intense. i want to point out the brilliance of andy circus we have cool behind the cool scenes where you can see him playing the character. what he does he plays the character through performance capture. he's actually onset playing the character as well as many other actors. they are the performance is captured through a computer obviously and they create the character from the emotional and physical performance. so he has suit on, he has dots all over his body. he has a
