the crash is still under investigation. also this morning in the district, a man is dead after being shot late last night. this happened in the 1,000 block of 17th street northeast. police got the call around 10:50 last night. investigators say he was shot in the head and the chest. they haven't said anything about suspects in the case. ♪ and another developing story this morning. lawyers for president trump are looking into his pardoning powers. they are reportedly trying to weaken the russian probe of the 2016 election according to people who are familiar with the effort, president trump has asked his advisers about being able to pardon advisers family members and even himself in connection with the investigation. one of his advisers says the president was only asking out of curiosity. meanwhile his legal team has not yet commented on this effort. >> well also in the news this morning one of the country's most famous inmates oj simpson soon to be former innate the juice successfully convinced nevada board to grant him parole and now the f

that's basically what he's talking about here. hyper loop one is that company they actually did a test in the nevada desert back in may just finding out about this now. so it would be this underground hyper loop system with stops in baltimore and philadelphia as you mentioned he'll land musk says he's got kind of a verbal okay from the us government. no formal approval. the white house says there have been positive discussions. now, the folks behind hyper loop are hoping to maybe break ground bite end of this year and these pods at high sped would go through this vacuum sealed tubes at roughly 700 miles an hour. and they could transport people, cars, bikes, in these tubes. the folks out in los angeles would love this. not only to ease their commuter congestion but also to maybe link los angeles to san francisco. the folks in chicago are talking about this, possible toll link downtown to o'hare. of course, anything leak this would need not just federal but local government approval. and y

most anticipated fill of the year by far i mention that everyone knows i'm big star wars fan. star wars film coming out in december this is more anticipated than that. we're so lucky to be witnessing one of the film maker working currently and pre serving the idea of going to movie theater and actually sitting in movie theater and experiencing it the way movies should be seen. christopher nolan if you're not familiar with his work wisdom and it i both love the dark knight films. >> awesome. >> incredible. momento, inception, inter interstellar. >> i loved inception. >> incense is a masterpiece. i loved inception so much. >> it's a totally different type of movie going out side the box. he's telling a story dunkirk i wasn't familiar witness battle until the movie came out. >> neither was i. i'm glad you said that. that proves nolan's range as a flam maker. some hook were c jump from batman to war film it is an hour and 47 minutes. >> i love that. >> your saying that's short. >> right. that's hard to do especially for war film. >> exactly. most war films that we all know and love are

and a half to three hours long. >> saving private ryan. >> exactly. >> apocalypse now and this before film based around the dunkirk story and the story line here the evacuation of over 330,000 british and allied soldiers during world war ii. this is before the america end the the war 1940. so it's a very -- it's a very famous british story. and it really is an movie that puts you into the intensity. you are dropped into this film with hardly any back story and you are experiencing the intensity with the characters as as you are.nfused just as much- cool thing is, this might sound confusing and this confused me at first, too, it's shown in three timelines. so you're told the story on the beach which is one week. in the air which is one hour. and on the sea which is one day. >> wow. >> the sea is kind of cool because civilian boats actually came to help these people get off the beach of dunkirk. it's really incredible film. harry styles has break out role in the film.

i really think it's important. it was shot with 75% of it shot in i max film cameras. if you can get to anism max theater i real dollar recommend that. the two best in our area that are close to the northern virginia area and d.c. area are lockheed martin which is national air and space and you had her ozzie out in chantilly. 15 bucks a ticket there you'll get the full blownism max experience the movie is still great regardless of the i max experience. i would really recommend that way to see it only because nolan is the kind of person who wants you to sit in the movie theater and if you're paying $15 for tick, why not get the best experience possible. >> sure. >> to answer the question from earlier it is still worth seeing regardless. if you can, lockheed right if d.c. take the metro whatever there it is so well worth it. the screen is like seven stories tall. massivism max screen and hans zimmer music leads the film. no leading characters in the movie. hardly any dialogue. >> is there dialogue. >> very minimal. very minimal dialogue it is literally just an
