first resporpdz at a fire scene in northeast. she joins us live with more, crane tin. >> good evening, tope, when it's this hot out and believe me, it's very hot outside. most of us are either blasting our acs or some place cool. but for firefighters who come to work, that's not the case. and not only are they battling the fire itself but they're battling heat and all of the elements that go with it. this particular fire started tonight here at this home on summit place north east. now, firefighters say when they arrived the fire was in the attic and in the roof attic of the building and they were able to contain it there before it spread. one firefighter had a minor injury and was taken to the hospital and we're told is expected to be okay. and these men and women keep in mind here, they're working under extreme circumstances and in this case, everyone can take a page from their book about how to stay safe when temperatures soar. >> on hot days like this obviously we weaa

>> and a middle school teacher was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. and police say christopher jordan has been employed by fairfax country public schools since last year and he taught 8th grade english holmes middle school and school officials say he will not return into the fall the investigation into the allegations are underway. if you recognize him or know something you can submit a tip anonymously. there's a reward of up to 1,000 for information that leads to arrest. >> and now to montgomery county, where a daycare worker was arrested and charged with sexually abusing a toddler. and police say 56-year-old recall bu on inappropriately touched a three-year-old girl while leaping. he worked as a cook in the lunch room at kinder care in gaithersburg and say there's no reason for him to iment acts with a child during nap time. the incident happened in october. and police have to find out if there's --
