weidman, i expect him to come out and try to grind me and take me down. i may not have chris's credentials as a wrestler in college but in mixled martial arts i can wrestle very well. he feels like he gets better as the fight goes on. if this fight goes to the championship round, it swings drastically in his favor. weidman will not be able to keep pace were him. >> just like he said, he doesn't feel pressure. it's true, he doesn't have any. it's a win-win situation. he's a smaller man in the weight class. he wants to drop underneath. he's fighting a guy that was a former champ. he's going to test himself to see how good he really is. all this is going to do for kelvin, he says i'm one of the best in the world, i can compete with the best in the world. or i'm not. he doesn't carry the weight, he's 25 years old and wants to drop down and keep winning anyway. >> he is in this division but a lot of people believe he will have the striking advantage.

journalist. he was not shy about sharing his own problems. including drug addiction and depression. he overcame a lot in his life. vance interviewed countless people including presidents, governors and mayors. but he also had a common touch. and most of all, he loved people. and loved to shine a light on their lives, problems and their tr trials. he received an honor, his portrait now adoor ands the mural outside ben chilly bowl in northwest >> you cannot imagine my joy and my pride when i got the word a month or so ago that all you all have voted poor ass little me to sit on vance

she said vance took time to mentor everybody from in persons to his co anchor >> i learned so much from working alongside vance. i think the most important thing i learned from him over the years is how important it is to be true to yourself, to be your authentic self on the news. >> reporter: they knew he was battling cancer, colleagues say. death saturday came as a shock. in this time of mourning, they remember the honesty humble and dedicated professional he was >> i hope people remember how much he cared about what he did. and how much he really cared about the city. how much he wanted to get the story right. day after day after day. he wasesry lentless. i hope people will remember the empathy that he felt for the
