this morning, the crime scene all the way as far as you can see. let's give you a closer look, earlier this is the crime scene. lots of officers on the scene. today, this is a quiet bike trail, it's popular early in the morning, riders and dog walker, but today was brocked off after gunfire, dc police, park police and the dc humane rescue alliance, a little bit later, animal officials were loading something into the back of a truck. it was in a black bag. here say police officer with what he had to say about all of this. >> officers arrived on the scene, and discovered an call black male suffered from multiple gunshot wounds in an unconscious state. dc fire ems has responded and he has been pronounced at this time. >> reporter: back out live here. once again, we're very close to the

the edthe doors open. the murders could be drug related but they wouldn't say more at the scene, so far, no arrest. we now know the names of the two people killed in a fatal car crash in anne arundel county. this had happened just after 2:00 a.m. on the westbound lanes of route 50 near the bay bridge. it was a three-car collision caused by a driver driving the wrong way down the road. police say kristen parks died at the scene hit another car, head-on killing hui xu of herndon, a driver and passenger in another car were hurt. the crash is still investigation. new video now from a drive by shooting in silver spring spring in the 9400 block. the people who live there were home at the time but no one was hurt. police are offering a reward up to $10,000 for information

there are more details tonight after several illegal immigrants were found dead in the back of an overheated tractor-trailer in texas. >> one of the victims who died has ties to our area. and to the gang ms 13. fox 5 tisha lewis joins us from fairfax with the story. >> reporter: we're steps away from the immigration and custom enforcement office in fairfax, where 19-year-old frank fuentes was deported months ago after being convicted for assault and more, ice said agency records indicate that he unlawfully entered the united states in 2000 and last year, he was convicted of grands larceny and assault and they go on to tell us they suspect he was a member of the deadly street gang ms 13 and was deported to his native guatemala back on march 2nd. four months after being kicked out the united states and sent back to

♪ ♪. in what is now known as his signature style, president trump used twitter to make a major announcement involving transgender service members >> the bottom line is they're no longer welcome to serve in u.s. military. ronica cleary live at the white house, this was a topic today, ronica? >> reporter: yes, a it was, jim and sarah. it seemingly came out of nowhere this announcement, started with three tweets that the president posted this morning, let's take a look at them. which seem to outline his plan. the first after consults with my generals and military experts please be advised that the united states government will not accept or allow now going on to the next, transgender individuals to serve in any capacity

tweet from the president, where he said that he would fight for the rights of the lgbt community. you heard in that response she just gave, she kept pointing to the fact that she says this was a military decision and she did so when responding to that point that reporters made. now, in the president's tweets this morning, he cited what he called, quote, tremendous medical costs associated with supporting the medical needs of transgender individuals who are serving in the u.s. military. now, a study out by the rand corporation, they estimate that the annual increase in medical costs would be anywhere from 2.4 to $8.4 million. of to put that in context, that is about a 10th of a percent of the annual 6 billion dollars in medical expenditures cited. we spoke

jones was arrested and charged with unlawful entry. we know of an update on the 12-year-old boy attacked by four teens in southwest. a 13-year-old is under arrest for taking part. charged with felony assault. the victim's mother said he was leaving the library when attacked by a group of boys saturday. one of them recorded the video and put it on a website. it was shared on facebook and viewed millions of times. an secret service special officer who accidently shot himself is recovering tonight. the incident happened yesterday afternoon in the 1100 block of l street northwest. secret service says the special officer was on duty when he shot himself in the thigh. he was assigned to the washington field office and no one else was hurt. >> new tonight, the trump administration set to launch a major crack-down on leaks. jeff sessions will soon announce seve

but we did not. tomorrow, low pressure rolling in from the midwest out of ahead of it you get the warm front that comes thorough you first and with the southerly flow, cloud cover and isolated thunderstorm or two, noticeably warmer. once low pressure moves in, this is by friday morning, we'll get a lot of rain, we got plenty of moisture available, were he got several sounds of showers and thunderstorms with low pressure slowing going to move through and not until midday saturday that the rain ends for most of us. here's how it plays out. futurecast tomorrow, 8:00 drive to work, doesn't even really like our thunderstorm chances inially after dark. you got a couple of thunderstorm that are possible during the overnight hours then we got round one of some heavy rain that's looking like it will come in early tomorrow morning, models as they tend to be all over the place with the exact timing and placement of where the first round will be, suffice to say, it will move from west to east at some point during the overnight hours, then kind of blows up. we got pockets of
