out there as well. so the warnings are up to our north mainly north of interstate 70. baltimore getting very heavy rain, large hail. in fact i saw one report where they not almost an inch of rain in 20 minutes up in baltimore. this is not good because this area is saturated here. these thunderstorm warnings for a portion of howard county a very small portion of it into carroll county go until 6:15 tonight and this baltimore one keeps getting extended. closer into the d.c. area weakening storm coming through fairfax county, not warned but a lot of lightning and pockets of heavy rain. these storms are pulsing up and down so they're not really created by a frontal boundary coming through, they live on the outflow of the other storms that are around and we've seen kind of little boundaries coming out of these storms and firing up new rounds of storms like this one that we're seeing just north of the beltway in montgomery county, west of vansville. most of these are generally moving slowly to the northeast and then closer look at these storms up here toward freedom and

getting hit hard there, also, moving north. so, we are going to be under the marginal risk in these darker green areas for severe weather between now and about 9 o'clock tonight but we've noticed and you probably have, too, that most of these start to dissipate after about 8 o'clock as we lose the peak heating of the day. weather headlines going forward. one more warm and muggy day and maybe a couple of isolated daytime storms. i think the better timing tomorrow might be later at night because we have a frontal boundary that's going to come through friday night into saturday morning. so, we may see these -- the better chance of storms maybe later, 9, 10 o'clock or something like that especially north and west tomorrow night. the weekend still looking great. it looks like the front will maybe have a couple of clouds or a few showers before the sun comes up on saturday and then we should be able to chase it out to see a lower humidity day on saturday and sunday looking terrific. tomorrow 91 with a thunderstorm later in the day. saturday maybe a morning shower, a temperature of 85 but the best news of all, the humidity is

sunday looks even better. a check of temperatures right now. we're still 88 degrees. you can see how the rain has cooled off dulles to 78 degrees, baltimore really cooled to 72 but close by in winchester it's still 90 degrees. annapolis 84. leonardtown 82. and again, combining it with the humidity you now see that we have a pretty good uptick where it feels like 96 in the district, 97 at quantico. but 92 for annapolis and cooler at baltimore because of all the rain that has been going on there for the last couple of hours. your evening forecast, we keep the thunderstorms around through the 7 o'clock hour. probably gone by 9 o'clock. 81 degrees. and by 11 o'clock, 77 degrees. we wrap it up with a look at one more 90-degree day. thathat's the only 90-degree day i have on the seven-day forecast. a pair of mid 80's. the weekend looking really nice and what you'll notice the most is the lower humidity. a rainy day expected on monday with a temperature of 83 degrees. that's about a 70 percent chance of rain on monday with a strong system coming on through. and then we think we can dry things out tuesday,
