taking away their work permits and we just think that's bad policy to revert somebody's un documented status. jessie let me get your take on this. do you agree with what the white house did. >> absolutely i agree and what was just said is false. everybody who is already under the daca program will be allow and anybody can renew the tat us for up two years. what we're asking the congress to do to do its job and do immigration re form. i think everybody even on both sides of the aisle should be celebrating this because an executive order isn't how we make laws in this country . congress will make this law. if all of these young and men are so worthy of citizen ship they will find a way to accommodate. that we're not a kingdom. a president can't go in and white wash this and say you're all here. a lot of controversy over the fact that president obama signed that executive order. he said at the time he saw it was tell mri he was

they're all being deported. that's a lie. all of them will have up to two years. i assure everyone out there in the american public we have to put americans first because we do have laws this country. we have 800,000 people here getting work permits, meanwhile we have 5 million americans in the same age bracket that are unemployed so let's be fair to the american citizens as wevment many of these dreamers are getting student loans and they're getting over $6 million benefits in student loans. what about that for americans in i think congress has treat to american citizens as equally fairly because we're americans, too. let me jump in for a equaled s. i guess the other side can argue and say they're not receiving any federal benefits. they still pay taxes just like everybody else. >> let's make them legal. then let's make them legal. that's why we're going on congress. >> it's important to point out they're contributing 466 billion-dollar to our

economy over the next ten years we're going to wipe that away. by the way, i'm not lying on march 6 if your daca permit expires on march 6 of next year you'll be removed fl daca and be out of work. this two-year period might get it, but for the vast majority of folks they'll be out in six months. the six months is giving congress an opportunity to write a law. you're assuming everybody kiss going to get booted out of this country. we will certainly see what congress does if they do something, if they can, you mentioned that lindsay gram has the billion there and we know john mccain has said things in the past and marco rubio. we'll see what happens. thank you both, very highly charged topic and you can imagine and it will not be the last time we talk about it. congress is back in session today after a five-week summer recess and one of the top priorities.s that he ' not the only item on the agenda.

trump administration wants an increase in the nation's borrowing authority. and the president's actions on immigrations could also end up being a major factor. democratic strategist emily swis are here to help us break this all down. let's justin the conversation a little bit from what we heard the first two. certainly daca is going to be something that congress will be discussing. today we heard that lindsay gram came out with a bipartisan push. before i get your response to that, let's list tone what they had. >> the first and direct conversation that i had with president trump was the day of his inauguration and i tarkd him about the dreamers anda. he looked me in the eye and said don't worry about those kids we're going to he take care of the people on the republican side of the aisle. we want to find a fair solution because you have done nothing

with healthcare and the john mccains and sort of the wild card. how tough would it be to get the gop on the same page with something like i am immigration row form. president trump has really underestimated the legislative process, how important it is and how detailed it is. i think that president trump in 2007 who actually went all in on the immigration process and he committed re sources from homeland security , from the congress department, from the white house and was leading the charge and that's the kind of profit. for president trump just to say hey, you have six months to do this and get it done i think that makes it a little bit more difficult especially with all the other things that are on the plate. when i heard sarah hug bisanders say six months, that's a long time. she has not spent a long time in washington. they can't get everything done. >> she hasn't experienced her own administration in washington >> let's talk about that, do you think with the like lie
