to extricate five people trapped inside the car. live over the scene you can see an active scene at this hour. "fox5" sarah simmons is in the newsroom with what we're learning tonight, sarah. >> the images are stunning. there are still a lot of questions as to what led up to the crash we just received an update from the sure isive's office minutes ago. we know one person is dead from the crash and four are in critical condition. this happened around 4:00 this afternoon and loudoun county sheriff says is the driver of the bus, converted food truck, was traveling east on watson road when it hit a car driving on ever green mills road. sheriff deputies tell us eight people were hurt in the crash and again, four people are in critical and several were trapped inside the wreckage for sometime. detengt activities are now trying to figure out how this crash happened in the first place. >> right now we're conducting an investigation. we have accident reconstruction personnel out there as well as our truck safety inspectors

sunshine state are rushing to evacuate. mandatory evacuations in south florida expanded today. american and southwest airlines have flights from florida landing at reagan international airport tovrnt the cost of tickets dropped significantly during the evacuation. tickets ranged from $800 to $3,000 when first looked and ended up paying $150 to get out of miami this morning. >> last night, it was a ghost town in miami. i've never seen that. it was eary. it was like nobody on the streets. there were no cars. no traffic. no nothing. i think a large majority of city evacuated, which is good. >> there's intense criticism of some airlines after they appeared to jack up prices trying to get out of no day and there will likely be delays because of the volume of people trying to leave the state. >> a man planned to harm more people afteret

pregnant girlfriend on fire in prince george country. >> now the woman escaped the fire and called her mother to warn steve hershorn boyfriend was headed to kill her too. evan lambert is live at the apartment complex in capitol heights where it started is. you spoke to the victim's mother. what did she tell you. >> i talked to the mother a half hour ago and she told me her daughter andrea granage remains in critical condition. this is a picture of her daughter andrea that the family shared with "fox5" and that mother says her daughter called her saying that she was on fire and that her boyfriend set her on fire and that he might be headed to the mother's house to harm her. police got to that suspect first. this is video in the moments after the attack this afternoon. police say just before noon a man through a flammable liquid on his pregnant girlfriend and lit her on fire. she was able to escape and get the help of neighbors. police say

set her on fire and he might be headed to her mom's house to harm her other family members. investigators contacted the suggestion spet and were able to get him to turn hemself in in d.c. we spoke to a neighbor here that saw gaanag desperately trying to get help while she was on fire. >> the young lady that lived upstairs the baby's father put her inside the tub and put gas inside and lit her on fire. she was bang ng on the door screaming and bagging on everybody's doors and the guy in the apartment next to me open the door and that's how we all figured it out and the whole apartment just was smelling her apartment was on fire. >> she was rushed to the burn unit med star washington hospital certainty doctors were able to deliver the baby. both the mother and baby are alive. both the mother and baby require your thoughts and prayers at this time. we want her family to know and community

an hour. this is is the cone of uncertainty. and it looks like it will make landfall over southern florida and florida keys sunday morning into sunday afternoon. so they'll start to she a lot of activity once we get to saturday night as well right here. and it could intense fixt the unpredictbility of the replacements of eye wall and fact the water is so warm there we could see it intensify as it makes land fall. conditions are favorable for it to remany category four or intensify and cone of uncertainty is a big area. if you look at it here i want to point out everything within the cone is in danger. this is the area that rally could make a big difference. so we could see it shift more to east or more west. it is still very, very unpredictable as to what could happen. we're talking 8 to 15 my possible and storm surge well above twelve feet possible with flooding reigns
