this is fox5 local news at 10. right now at ten, a maryland teenager was kidnapped assaulted and raped. two suspects are in jail, another is on the run and the victim's sister is believed to be the master mind behind the crime. plus, a fox5 exclusive, racially insensitive content posted on instagram by someone who is sworn to protect and serve in the

and taking a closer look at cte, what researchers are saying now after a severe case of the degenerative brain disease was found in former nfl star aaron hernandez' brain. the news at ten starts right now. two men are in jail accused of kidnapping, raping a maryland teenager and they believe the younger sister is the master mind behind the crime. fox5 has learned immigration officialses placed a detainer against one of the suspects. fox5's anjali hemphill is live in frederick with more. >>reporter: these charging documents detail a disturbing crime, a young woman allegedly kidnapped and raped and investigators believe the whole attack was coordinated on instagram by the victim's 13 year old sister. nobody answered the door today of a frederick apartment where police say these two

victor gonzales geu tear rest and 17 year old edward check as ambushed a high school classroom in the early morning hours of september 2 to kidnap and rape her. they displayed a a knife and took her to a vehicle that was located nearby. they then transported her to an apartment nearby and where they detained her for several hours. investigators believe they raped the victim while a third suspect whose face was covered took video on a cellphone. the two suspects were identified by the victim. she knew them. she had gone to school with them. the third suspect's role in the actual incident itself, we believe that he filmed it and we are unable to locate him or fully identify him at this point . according to court documents, the victim's 13 year old sister, a middle school student may have also been in on the attack. investigators say they found messages through instag

rape even offering to show the victim's boyfriend the video of the attack in exchange for quote , a night of pleasure. meanwhile ice tells fox5 it's lumark consultinged an immigration detainer for geu tears as he release on bond back in april. according to court documents both the victim and her sister say these suspects both local high school students were known to be involved in gangs. we are looking into the possibility of gang ties. however we do not have anything solid a at this point. is would not provide information on that second person arrested as he is a minor. police are still look ing for a third suspect who they believed filmed this attack . right now the victim's 13 year old sister is only considered a person of interest she's not facing any charges at this time. live in frederick, anjali

>> a d.c. family is grieving the loss of their son tonight. he was shot and killed just steps away trump administration his home in northeast. someone tried to rob see air kelly wright near 13th and downing streets. he defended himself with the knife and stabbed his attacker, but moments later the attacker shot and killed disair air. he was a teen at they are good marshal academy. he was on his way home when the gun man attacked hivment he was on his way home from a college seminar, a 12th grade student, an excellent student. he was a leader. the school left him. they let everybody go because everybody left him. the gunman, 19 year old see quawn gill is and the victim both died at the hospital. investigators say the attack appears to be random. tonight family and friends gathered in northeast d.c. to remember daniel williams. a gunman shot her and another person earlier this month. the other victim

williams died from her injuries tonight her mother who is hearing impaired spoke to fox5 about how she wants her daughter to be remembered. she was a good mother, a good daughter, very helpful to the community. the violence must stop. we must stop. we must love each other. >> daniel's family said she three children. d.c. police tonight are still looking for their killer. q. the local massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting two clients is being held without bond. tonight we learned there could be a third vic tism the first incident was reported to police last sunday, september 17. a female client said how that mu gab last i performed a sex act on her without her consent. then another client recorded an august 28 incident to police. now police are investigating a june incident at deluca massage in northwest. police tell us the suspects worked o

suspect i should say worked at a number of different spa locations. gatry three hurricane maria is continuing to strengthen as it approaches the turks and cake ohs islands and the bahamas. so far the storm is blamed for at least 19 deaths across the carribean. she blu across the dominican republic this morning. when it slammed into puerto rico yesterday it caused widespread damage and flooding. the entire flooding is without power and it could be that way for up to six months. it blows me a away to hear that they could be without power for so long. sue, where is the storm now? what's the track like. >> still close enough to the dominican republic that they're getting terrible conditions and it ' still range on puerto rico and the flash flooding is described as catastrophic. the problems continue with maria even though there's been no additional landfall, but it is close enough and big enough that it does affect a lot of these islands. r

60 miles out east of grand turkey land. so turks and cake owes have hurricane islands and while a direct hit is not anticipated it's close enough to the turks and cake ohs as well as to the south eastern bahamas that they're definitely going to be feeling it. this is something that i just noticed with the hurricane hunters on their most recent pass through the eye they found winds of 142 miles per hour. our last update from the national hurricane center had it at winds of 125 so we lay be seeing it getting a little bit stronger at the 11:00 update which i'll have for you before the end of this hour. current winds 125, movement northwest at nine. going downhill obviously are to the turks and cake owes, the southeast and bahamas but after that signs are still good, while it's still going to remain a hur hurricane for next five days it does get weaker. it should become a two and then eventually a

it's down after what some call the racially insensitive content was reported to mpd. these memes shared on the now defunct instance gram account american cops ranked up hundreds of likes . an activist shared these screen shots with mpd like this one chef gordon ramsey appearing to becomen raged. this chicken are so black police are screaming at it to stop resist ing. this one shows an officer calling an asian woman sushi because he can't pronounce her name. the posts aren't funny. >> if you feel like you you equate a black person to a chicken then absolutely you need to be fired because you are no longer competent. >> on posts on the the account officer dennis foagly publicly identified himself as the operator even posting pictures of

occasion. the accusations of \section\section{#n}ry sensitivity come at a time when officers are already under a microscope. wearing this t-shirt which has a sun cross on it, a symbol associated with the kkk. then you have a police chief who comes out and says this is not mpd, but clearly it is. these are your officers. these are your officers turning to do these things after you've come out with statements after there's been complaints, after there's been nationwide coverage . so it'sen raging to me. mpd told fox5 a commanders talked to officer foagly about the intermediary gram account and he told them he sold it. today i asked mpd for an interview with chief peter newsham. they did not make him available. i also asked if the officer behind the account had any discipline as a result of this. they did not respond to that inquiry as well. we tried to reach out to that officer on social

>> welcome back, former nfl arrow hernandez committed suicide in april. new findings out today found he had the debilitating brain disease known as cte. his fiance is now you suing the new england patriots and the nfl. she says his time on the field could have played a reel in his death. this is incredible:the announcement today came as shocking news not only because it was confirmed that former new england patriots tightened suffered from cte but because of the severity of the disease ease that was found in his brain at scuch a young age. aaron hernandez was 27 year old when he committed suicide at a massachusetts correctional facility when he served live behind bars for murder. before that he was an all star football player at the university of florida and then a pro player for the new england patriots. today's news comes months after boston university's cte study ud

hernandez had an advanced stage three of cte which is usually found in the median age of a 67 year old man. >> on a scale of one to four, four being the most severe case, hernandez' brain at just 27 years old was an advanced stage three. these pictures provided by boston university show a healthy brain to the left and to the right advanced cte. the abnormal cells that cause cte can produce symptoms like memory loss, confusion, impaired judgment, aggression, depression and can even lead to suicide. on social media surgeons and scientists are calling on the nfl to address the health hazard immediately. similar to what's found in alzheimer's' patients they develop these changes in their brain where it mimics, but it's distinct from al hiem mere 's disease, you a can see in the case of aaron hernandez he
