critics are questioning the president's response to hurricane maria. why they say it's not enough. the news at ten starts right now. >> we begin tonight with the search to find that missing prince george's county woman. it's been ate days now since anyone has seen asian ticketed event billy. investigators say she never showed up to work at a norfolk military base. >> billy a graduate wise high cool in upper marlboro was last seen september 18 and her last known movements may have been caught on surveillance video. fox5's marina maracco has more now on this developing story. >>reporter: tonight there's a $10,000 reward for any information that will lead investigators to the prince george's county woman. the fbi is investigating the case and has release this video that you see behind me here. agents believe it was the last asian take you billy was seen. please pray for ashante my daughter, my baby, he's my everything. the

emotional plea from a moamplet the fbi release this surveillance video of the 19 year old's car entering gait three at joint spi pi digsry little creek at four:44 a.m. on monday, september 18. the car was seen minutes later leaving the same gait after being turned around because of an accident on base. the fbi says the car was seen yet again just before five in the morning. that video has yet to be release. her family tells fox5 the girl was headed to work at the blim pi sub shop on base. her car, this cream color minute i cooper was seen on surveillance video leaving the little creek base just 30 minutes after driving in. her car was seen leaving the base and then at that point is when we're looking for the help property public. the public has helped. that same day ashante

five miles away from the basin side a dumpster. neighbors nearby heard the phone ringing. we opened the dumper and it was a girl from the base checking on the girl because show hadn't been at work. it was neighbors that recognized the car parked and sitting idle. the car's maryland tags were a red flag. i read the description, looked up and said, that's there. it's men more than a week and still no word. bring my baby home today. and the family has traveled from prince george's county where they live to norfolk in hopes of assisting the search for ashante. investigators are not ready to release the video from the second gait where her car was seen entering a

base. tonight and only on fox5 a woman from northeast d.c. claims a group of girls beat her up for no than are. she skies she attack her on the street last weekend and left her bloody and bruised. lindsay watts joins us now with the story. >>reporter: it happened here in the ex incorporate ton neighborhood. the woman who was attacked said she always felt safe here, save enough you to walk by herself even at night. that all changed late here saturday. i took a few steps and then all of a sud sen i was pushed. christie mack peak says at first she accident think anything of the group of girls behind her. all of a sudden she was on the ground. i was really startled and hopped p up immediately. mack peak says then one in the group asked her for the time. the other girl said, hey, what time is it? aren't youing going to answer her? aren't you going to answer her? >> i just didn't say anything. the girl who pushed me initially pushed me again, sam

a teacher alerted a school re source officer after she spot ted a 16 year old student exchanging money with another teen t ager who was trespassing on campus. an officer quickly reacted and found the current student and began questioning that student. during the questioning the officer found a handgun on the student quickly, took that student into custody. a law enforcement source told fox5 the former student accused of trespassing was known to be a troublemaker in the past. it's still unclear why the 16 year old student brought the gun to school. tonight pu purity puerto rico, we have no water. tonight puerto rico is still trying to recover from the one- two punch of hurricanes pennsylvaniary a and irma. most of the island is still without power and there aren't enough generators or diesel fuel to run them. also, basic necessities like food and water are hard

come by. it will still be days before help can reach some parts of the island. president trump is set to visit puerto rico next tuesday to survey the damage. today he praised the us response to the devastation. the govern or said we are doing a great job. in fact, he thanked me specifically for fema and all of the fire poarnds in puerto rico and we're also mentioning with that the us virgin islands it was disefs take ited. the president has not been poa cuss ed on helping the island and the response has been far slower than the response to help texas and florida following hurricanes there. my fear is that no one in the administration has really understand the graft of the situation in puerto rico. this is evolving and some people are saying it's already a humanitarian crisis. the trump administration is increasing its disaster assistance and

already our curious creature is the ever wondering costco shopping cart. for years they've essentially seen more abandoned costco carts on the streets of arlington than in the costco lot. sarah walls started documenting her certify dip tuesday carts of the week. we just thought it was opportune anyhow many costco carts we kept passing just on a half hour walk there were probably like 15 carts every where we turned. there's this master piece well captured on september 20. costco carts in their natural epic smoke houses happy hour or this one a loan cart going rogue and trying a pizza brand other than kirkland. but where this idea started poke fun at the problem, wall hopes someone will take the issue more seriously. whether customers have the courtesy to return the carts they

generation. the jut are the future. as cliche as it sounds, this is their world much it's a focus on them when there may be so much divisin elsewhere you know that they're going to bring it altogether. we are in really some interesting times right now and i think that a lot of people will be stuck in that place. don't get stuck in that place. i think when you're stuck in that place you're allowing the rest of the world's negativity to swallow you up. you have to come out of it with light and hope and courage and not be a lazy citizen. they're willing to take challenges that i sometimes wouldn't take because of fears or anyway bigses that i have. but that's one of the things that i truly add miranda about young people. if you want to know it might take sometime. keep going for. no isn't an answer. there's a way around it . find the way around it. you absolutely have this. the national youth of the year gets a chance to continue his success ful path by receiving
