police. what we'rehat the student brought the gun to school apparently to show off. police say they got the call early this morning, from school just down the road from quantico marine base, telling police they found a gun inside that student's locker. the gun was unloaded and investigators found no ammunition for it. the student was taken into custody and will likely face juvenile charges of taking a firearm on to school grounds. police say investigators think the student just wanted to show the gun to other students and there was no plan to use it. it's unclear who owned the gun or where it came from. police would not release the making model or even the caliber of the weapon. parents, we talked to today as school let out this afternoon were understandably concerned. >> i think they should alert parents, we should have been

more than 20 years, he says he and his co workers noticed these cards on the table next to them while they were on break around 9:30 this morning and were shocked at who would do this, i'm told more than 90% of the workers are black and this incident will have the many upset, some worry it could be the beginning of something worse. >> with what's going on in the world, you always have to be careful because you never know what people are thinking. they may not say it but people may be thinking something they shouldn't be thinking. and you know, it's just, it's hard to come to work and know that someone feels that way or someone even if it was a joke. you know, this is the mail. even if it was a joke, it's not funny. you know, when you come to work, you don't come to work to be attacked in that manner >> we want them to be reprimanded for that activity. we don't have anything in there posted saying black lives matter and stuff like that >> it's not the place for that.

a problem? >> reporter: yeah. so these bike share programs pretty cool. you just look it up on your phone, use the ap. there's mobike, line bike, spin. you can pick up a bike wherever it is, it will show you based on gps on your phone and you ride the bike, it's about a dollar for 30-minute ride and you can leave it anywhere. the problem is you can't just leave it anywhere. we've seen these bikes now littering parks around the dc area, and that is a problem to the u.s. park service. and the park police. so what they're doing, they're finding these bikes, we have a picture here what it looked like earlier here at u.s. park police at the central district. a skittles rainbow of different colorado bikes, you have the lime bike green, the mo bike orange, sitting at the park police headquarters, that's a problem. you can't just leave these

the impact of a massive nationwide round-up of criminal illegal immigrants being felt across dc, last night. u.s. immigration and custom african end add four-day operation >> they arrested nearly 500 people in this country illegally that had committed crimes, it's where these raised taken place like dc, baltimore, new york and los angeles, these are so-called sanctuary cities, tom fitzgerald talked with ice today and live in southeast with more. fitz. >> reporter: we've been tracking this one all day. ice said that the agency is targeting individuals across the country as part of what they're calling operation safe city. but when you look at which one of these cities there are involved in this, dc, baltimore, los angeles, new york city, these are all jurisdictions locally that the trump administration and the federal government have taken issue with about how these areas

policies. take a look. here in dc, 14 individuals were arrested as part of this operation included amongst them, we're told from ice, a citizen of el salvador who came into the u.s. illegally and at a previous conviction for an unregistered firearm and then ammunition violation. there was also another citizen of el salvador came in illegally. that person was described as somebody having several misdemeanor charge, while another, a mexican design. he entered illegally and was wanted on a cocaine conviction. president trump and the justice department under jeff sessions have wanted to get tough with communities who do not cooperate with federal immigration policies. as a result of this illegal immigration enforcement, there are questions being raised tonight from many sectors about
