at the mandalay bay into a crowd of thousands of people below. ♪ ♪ [ gunfire ]. >> country star jason aldean was performing on the stage at the outdoor country music concert route 91 harvest festival where the first shots were fivrd after 10 . hundreds of bullets rained down on the crowd lasting several minutes sending thousands running for cover. witnesses describe a terrifying escape. >> he onened fire in the mid of the crowd during the head liner. people probably instantly were killed. it had to be like 20 people instantly killed. >> people were running across the road man just it was insane. >> i saw one person fall behind me and after that just panic and climbing over fences to literally survive.

i had a man step over me to get over me. >> shots just kept ringing out here and there. and it is a mess. it's a mess. there's a lot of people injured. a lot of people that have been shot. two or three that i know of that have been shot. three to four that i know of of that were injured trying to run out of there. it's horrible it's disgusting makes me sick. >> the dead suspect is 64-year-old steveen paddock she shot himself before police broke into his hotel room where they found ten rifles and quiet retirement community in mess keit, nevada where they are searching his home for evidence and possible motive. and and shocked and shaken up. >> he called his mother [ crying ]

couple upper 70s would not surprise me late tomorrow afternoon. satellite and radar it's really no clouds there sitting right underneath area of high pressure and high pressure at surface and extends to upper levels of atmosphere. you have to go a long way to find any significant weather back out here there's a lot of cloud cover and showers here through part of minneapolis. snow flying you can see that cold stuff here an a lot of montana under snow right now and then it comes down through higher elevations in wyoming and colorado too. so that entire system yes it's get allege little closer to us and it breaks down high pressure. in order to get there and several days before we see any real significant change with our weather forecast. dry under high pressure and another day tomorrow with lots of sunshine. temperatures obviously i just showed you in the 70s tomorrow. mild conditions and future cast really has nothing to show us for tomorrow.

two. this one faces bridge that i'm standing on right now. and the bridge i was standing on last night. i didn't see that last night obviously in the dark. when i saw it this morning it was chilling. let me give you perspective what i saw last night and where i was. i was standing on this bridge you see between new york and mgm. that's right in back of me and right below is staging area from last night. it looks a lot different now than it did last night. last night first responders and police were there and used that as staging area and they were bringing folks up from the mandalay bay side up the street you can see on my left hundredp hundreds of people running up this side and as gunfire was happening and you know your heart has to go out to the people that were at the heart of this festival. they got separated from loved ones and people were on the phone trying to tell people they were okay.
