la-la palooza festival. hotel says he neverleded in that shooting. they include 36 women and 22 m men. the oldest victim was 67 years old. the youngest was just 20. now since the shooting, bump stocks the accessory that turns a semi-automatic weapon into an automatic weapon or essentially a machine gun those bump stocks are selling fast. the spike is driven by fears of tighter gun control and it looks like getting one could be much more difficult in the future. retailers like wal*mart and cabella's are removing the accessory from their sites and what might be a surprising turn, some republicans now say they support these regulations on bump stocks and even the nra now says that the organization is open to reviewing the sale of bump stocks. 9:04.

now. first up president trump pushing his tax cut plan once again. he'll a pool of white house reporters photo represented quote the calm before the storm. when asked what storm, the president said, you'll find out. white right now met people presume their remarks have to do with the iran nuclear treaty. there are reports he will decertify that treaty next week. >> president also getting involved in the race for virginia's next governor last night he tweeted in support of republican ed gillespie an accused democratic rival ralph norton of violent for the ms13 gangs in sanctuary city. northam gave a link to donate to his campaign. >> all righty. we've been enjoying switching gears wildly -- >> yes, we have. >> really nice wet, right. >> it's been really nice. >> beautiful weather. >> even summertime in the fall. >> haven't seen rain in awhile.

been available. wppeal to me before i felt like i can apply more in the real world and it's growing very quickly. >> what are some of the opportunities out there for someone with this major? >> after you graduate. >> yes. >> so personally i wanting to crypto will will he gentlemen cal warfare. your major doesn't have anything to do with your service election so anyone can do it many but if you're in this major -- >> it will help for sure. >> but you get great opportunities as well off campus because when we talk about maybe when we were in school we interned we bent went to local television station or newspaper. you get to go to top government agencies and intern as well what have you done so far. >> i interned at the national security agency at ft. meade this past summer. six week long internship. >> just that. >> it's got to be fantastic learning experience but i have to ask you as a student as well, and you're the

what a junior would be. o f expect when you came in? >> personally i didn't really know what t bexig shock to me. over time you get accustomed it to and i just learn. >> what is it that you like best about it. >> i'm fascinated when you see the midshipmen walking around everyone is very regimenned it seems very strict sort of routine they're in. is it that? are there fun times and what are those like? i'm curious from personal stand point. >> it's definitely like that like this past week it's called air force week and the week leading you up to the air force game we pa take in differ pranks. >> we saw the statue. >> exactly. there are fun times but a lot of times we have to focus and work hard in school. >> we talked with admissions earlier. i'll ask you it's he can treatmently difficult to get accepted here because it's so competitive and so many fudge leaders like yourself. for moms and dads out there who's students might be in

oil prices in the days come andy damage to louisiana. first on fox5 manhunt underway in montgomery county aft police say a woman was raped while walking to work this morning in gaithersburg. this happened just after six confidential in the morning near a bus stop on watkin mill road and travis lane. the suspect managed to get away. montgomery county police and gaithersburg police are investigating. the 2017 nobel piece prize announced this morning and the winner is the international campaign to abolish nuclear weapons or i can. a coalition of non governmental organizations from 100 different countries around the world. the director of the anti nuclear group says winning the nobel peace prize sends a message to nuclear armed states. latest job numbers out for thefirst time in six years the economy has taken a hit.

way and see how they do. sitting right next to me er this is brad martin and brad is a junior and if brad's uniform looks different because it is not a us navy uniform. brad at the u.s. air force academy but you're an exchange student. >> i am. >> how much time will you spend here in annapolis. >> one semester august to december. >> this is a good time to get out of colorado. it's little nicer weather unless you plan on going skiing. i know time is precious. what have you learned so far here in annapolis as far as learning about not just one branch in the military but several. >> honestly i just learn the navy is really different than the air force. you know obviously it's a service academy which is pretty similar in general to the air force cad pee but there are lot of like minor differences i pick up on like they take drill a lot mr. seriously here than we do.

i've ever met. >> let me ask you before you. at what point did you say if i get cemented this is w r llly wd for the military but i came to my cousin's graduation and fell in love with the place and i said regardless of the type of person i think i am i'm going to do what i can to go here. i went through the application pipeline. i was granted a candidate visit weekend where you can come in as high schooler and spend a weekend with a midshipman here and i figure out kind of quickly that i actually did fit in and my preconceptions were all wrong and, um, high to work my tale off to get in here really try very hard in my application but things fell into place and i ended up able to come. >> fantastic. here you are

coastline maybe even the extreme weh winds maybe approaching 80, 85 miles per hour. hurricane watch has already been posted there along the coastline of louisiana, alabama, mississippi too and a portion of extreme western florida. so again you can see the cone here. there's little bit of uncertainty in that and wiggle room for the national hurricane center it could still go to the west. it could still go little bit to the east and all that moisture eventually gets pulled right up into the mid atlantic. we need the rain. but hopefully it won't be too terribly much at one time. we'll be dealing with this going into monday and into tuesday and then by tuesday most of this starts to move far enough off to the northeast. it looks like nate will continue to move along at a pretty steady rate which hopefully will limit any real threat -- flooding threat. beautiful for nats game this evening. beaufu
