closed uptight. there's nothing left inside. but out here on the sidewalk, everything was placed out here. there were computers, desks, tables and lots and lots of computer -- computers and lots and lots of records, tax records, that's why we're talking about it here today. there were boxes of them, 25 to 30 boxes, they're now, as you said in the hands of the u.s. treasury. but there's questions tonight as to whether or not they should have been out here in the first place. let's show you video we shot. late this afternoon an official with the u.s. treasure department took last of the tax records out of the h street main street offices where they had been stored for safekeeping since tuesday, boxes of them. as many as 25 had been left on the sidewalk outside the speedy tax service before, a mwar saline had them load them and take them into his office

questioning in yesterday's attack, this is dominating headlines but when it comes to seeing terror attacks on television and on lines, are we becoming desensitized to it? here to take a closer look a licensed clinical psychologist. we were talking about this in the newsroom. seems like, these all keep happening and it's almost like a part of life now. seems like. you know, how do we deal with it and do you think we are becoming in a sense desensitized >> sadly it is becoming part of life. it was just a month ago that we had las vegas and before that, it was hurricanes and all sorts of things that were in the news all sorts of devastation. becoming desensitized is part of coping in a way. nobody should have to deal with this kind of terrorism. letting terror impact your life and not being able to continue on with things you

moments before they swarmed around a woman in this neighborhood, and attempted to steal her bag. in fact, they actually did steal her bag and were able to take off and they went in an ally way right down this block in this neighborhood. what they did not know is that there was no outlet in in this put ally way. that this allowed witnesses to get a good look and allowed a good samaritan to spring into action. >> we heard a loud scream and someone saying, get down, get down and we leaned out of the window and we saw a woman running down the streets screaming. so then we got our clothes out. some other gentleman from across the street had run down and everybody was leaning out and basically didn't know what had happened. we heard later that it had been a robbery or someone snagged her bag. >> reporter: a good samaritan was able to catch up with the susp

bag back. we obtained exclusively this surveillance video taken from a home security system showing at least six suspects on bikes apparently as for the robbery. this took place near 21 it's and m street in new jersey transit. one of the suspects was apparently wearing a red hood de. all of this happened around 10:00 last night. >> there were rental bikes around on the street but we didn't see anyone on them or claiming them. >> it's sad, of course, i hope she wasn't injured in any way but i think you can't avoid that type crime anywhere. if it was a violent crime it would be a lot more shocked. this area itself is not immune to that type of crime. >> reporter: the resident who shared the video with us says that he regularly shares home surveillance videos with police when crimes happen in this area. he goes on to tell us that we were the first to tell them about this, so detectives
