police say a car ran them down ment it happened early this morning on acase yeah court. corey coffin joins us with dramatic new details about what happened. >>reporter: it's been a cheh the on thetic scene in that neighborhood, 24 year oldie lodge i joiner has been charged with two counts of first degree murder. according to frederick county sheriff joiner along with 37 year old shan dra nailer and 19 year old hill jr. arrived together in a vehicle to acase sha court around 4:30 in the morning. someone was beating peoplement just after five a.m. police got a call that a man believed to be joiner was assaulting another man and a woman in the roadway. i'm advising they saw someone run over a person who ran into another car and hit a tree. >> a chaotic and confusing scene . we also just received a car for 6846 car nation circle. investigators believed joiner stabbed hill and then got into the

this attack. tony. developing tonight three people are without a home after massive fire tore through the home earlier this evening. this happened in brook ville, maryland. that's where we find fox5's lauren demarco who is live with the latest. lauren. >>reporter: tony, just a devastating night here, a couple lives in this home with their son. he appears to be a younger adult. he passed us by earlier on his way out of the neighborhood and he was just really emotional. now, the fire broke out in the 6:00 hour and w crews here. just cleaning up, monitoring for any hot spots. but sky fox was over the scene earlier. the large home on brink wood road appeared to be completely engulfed and montgomery fire spokesman showed some incredible photos of the damage. what i'm learning is the father and son were in the garage working on vehicle and flames broke out spreading to th

good themselves out, but the father was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and minor burnsment i'm told the mother was not home at the time. this neighborhood in brook scril, part of olney is an neighborhood that is not equipped with fire hydrants. units from howard county and other local jurisdictions were called in to asilver springs. we did call reinforcements. water supply was not a problem. we had a pond nearby. we were able to knock the fire down. probably half the home has fire damage, the rest is heat and smoke and water damage. a complete loss for the most part. the family of three and the family pet will be displaced. we're a tight it in group. i've my whole life grew up here and it's scary to see something like this take place so close to my house. hopefully the community can come around and help this family out that pond that pete percha mentioned turned out to be a huge help for

tomorrow to head out and see some of the beautiful color, the color is peaking more and west. moderate from d.c. on south and east. up through pennsylvania, new york and new england. this is the time to enjoy the foliage . we're going to ' the leaves really tumbling over here over the next few weeksment temperatures are going to head forth upper 70s if not near 80 in some spots. quite warm, even warmer than today. there is a little bit of a changeup. we could have a couple of showers around and a deck of clouds come s in. they don't last long, but it's a frontal boundary that we'll be getting closer. the setup changes for saturday we think that we're going to have sort of a cool air damning situation on saturday so we might have a little sun saturday and then clouds cooler temperatures and maybe some patches of drizzle or light rain pop in on saturday but we should be able to break out of it a bit on sunday. we see some improvement for sunday afternoon . so temperature wise we're really going to be down and then up as we
