>> everyone likes to talk about changing and simplifying the tax code until you star doing this. getting this plan through congress will be a real fight. >> look at that. look at that. >> the capitol christmas tree isn't even up yet but there's a lot of talk around here about christmas and taxes. >> we are giving them a big beautiful christmas present in the form of a tremendous tack cut. >> the president and congressional republicans pulling the wraps off their tax cut and reform plan hoping to get it done by december 25th. at the lower end, more people would pay 0% sent of their income and few brackets. although the top one would remain at nearly 40%. the standard deduction goes up as does the child tax credit. corporations get big cut with the tack rate falling from 35% to 20. but state and local income taxes would no longer be deductible and there would be new limits on mortgage interest deduct it would in theory be simple.

much that's pretty good and that's just this one apple store. i can tell you we overheard one of the managers here telling some folks further back in the line that they have plenty of phones much that is good thing. certainly was some question as to whether people would be able to get their hands on them because of the supply. tech analysts say part of that supply the phone is a little more complicated to build and so with this first roll out it's taking them a little bit longer to get them from the manufacturer noose the stores but again it look like another good success here for apple in george up to today. back to you guys. >> mel, i'm going to say go out on a limb i don't get it. it's a phone. i don't understand why you sleeping outside today you can get that same phone in month. i don't get it. would you he have see a scenario where you would do this, sleep outside to pay thousand dollars for a phone? >> reporter: no. i can think of very few things i would do that for. >> mel, do they say -- just kind of touch on your

it would no longer represent the actor. spokesperson with that company says that both caa and spaci' publicist spacy wolf have parted ways with kevin spacey a mid growing claims of sexual harass many. that decision comes after eight current and former house of cards workers claim spacy made the netflix production a toxic workplace. also, one ex employee alleges the actor sexually assaulted h him. fairfax county public schools need the community's help raising money. the northern virginia school district launched a gofundme style page on its website for donations for help towards costs associated with changing the name of jeb stuart high school to justice high school. the district has two years to implement the name change. so far they've raised $8,000 but the school board says the change could cost as much as $1 million to complete. houston is gearing up for a big celebration. the city will honor the new world series

students are working on together in the community. >> this is just another way georgetown is able to get out into the community which we mentioned before they do a ton work with local communities here in d.c. is this an option thing like a class they take? >> so we have student medical students who rotate through our clinics, med star and george january university hospital students. we partner them with law students who come down to conduct legal clinic in the health care setting. >> i know that this is brand new program it's sort of in the infancy stages here. it's been a year long. talk about some of the chal challenges and some of the real things that you all have seen as you continue to do something like this. >> so one of the things that

so i work with kids out in the community in d.c. from low income families and one of the things that we see is that a lot of times they're having trouble just getting some of the things that, um -- they're entitled to. basic necessities. >> things that relate to health care. health insurance or some of the food assistance programs that they should be able to get but certain glitches in the system making it hard for them to obtain it. >> so sometimes we find as healthy care professional we're trying to help them with that. we're trig to advocate for them and make phone calls. but lot of time we don't get any w we run into barrier that's where it's nice to have legal professional to step in and under the system, understand how to work through some of that to get kids the health insurance they need. >> this is some student project. this is real world experience and real people that they're dealing with. is this a pathway towards possibly future employment for these students or more of like an example of what they're going to be tackling outside of sc

what was really the drive behind this and what do you think has led to its success all these years? >> it actually goes back to anne-marie just said we're in situation where people feel like they're not enough lanes for all of thus the fellas get away witness ladies we are pitted with the mayor, the makeup who has the fly yesterday heels. any woman in the workplace knows she's felt like she's competing with the woman who helped her finish whatever reports are do are get things set up for a meeting. so for pgc we understand women are not recognized sometimes and celebrated like we should be and we thought, what can we do so that the ladies know this is for them, about them, we going to bring eye candy, some good eats good times and that's we did. here we are 18 years later. not because of us. because the women in the dmv said, we like this. we get to now counteract every negative stereotype. >> all right. >> that we get together. >> the poet tell it. >> we get together and we celebrate

you're recording, do you approach it different? do you feel different or can you go on and say this is we'll give tonight and tomorrow here in arlington. >> i've been working harder this fall i've been going out a lot and got it down. last weekend i started thinking, i think i got this thing. you know, they'll see this weekend what i'm going to be doing. so it's helped i've been on the road a lot. a lot of things have happened in my life and what's great about the audience first of all they come out to so your show. what an honor that is. i know what it's like to book time to get out when you have a family or you have this and that. and they're coming to so me which is -- and then so the people if they know at the end of the show because they care about you that things turn out all right you got wife, you've been together nine and a half years you got two kids you can go dark about your many mistakes which i've made many as long as at the end they're like, thank god. things turned out okay. >> on that take is there anything in your life you won't go to? >> no. no. but i
