the beltway, that's where authorities picked up the pursuit. they started following a white van. let's take you to video now, this is video high above from skyfox, this is located not far from route one on the inner loop. we're told the van may have had another car or some kind of mechanical issued and pulled over to the side. one person jump out and was apparently hit by an unmarked police vehicle involved in that pursuit. four other people inside that van then were arrested. and several weapons were recovered from inside that vehicle. back out live here in the wheaton area, we should tell you that authorities are looking into two other armed robberies that happened in september. one of them happened on september 1st. the other one on september 22. then issued an letter in october putting pictures out. they believe that those two

her car on a street corner opposite the bus stop >> unit 16o 2 >> our officers canvassed the area, we used k-9s >> at the time of the attack, there were no apparent witnesses. the only one was at the bus stop across the street. it's unclear if it captured the assault. residents were naturally horrified by news of the attack >> this isn't a arctic ally way. you don't have to be hiding in a -- on a dark pathway for this kind of thing to happen in the middle of the night. >> that's really scary.

here on this street corner. now, as far as that rape that occurred back in may, that person was captured on camera. it's an incredible nerve of this person and police say they still have not been able to identify who that person is, what is interesting is that the stipulation of the person in this rape is very similar to the one in the may rape. however, police say at this point, they have no reason to connect the two. we're live in arlington, paul wagner fox 5 local news. new tonight a victory of the effort oh crack down on the opioid epidemic, police have dieted nearly two dozen allege opioid dealers, it's part of an investigation that included six months of undercover drug purchases. one of the suspects a 16-year-old boy. some dealers were indieted, still on the run, five others are wanted by police and they plan to release those names in the coming days. let's take a live look outside. it looks a little bit cloudy out there.

contacted the governor saying they that had evidence to back up allegations they link this to school ceo dr. kevin mac well. days later, fox 5 broke the news that governor larry hogan was calling for independent investigation. the results of that investigation have been released. jim? >> that audit it looked at sample groups out of more than 1200 of 5,000 identified as having late grade changes after final grade. we know there was evidence of grade changing out there. always 5% didn't have enough credits to graduate in the first place. in addition to that. there is evidence out there that schools don't properly follow the grade entry procedure properly, but the reports said the findings do in the support the idea that there was systemic wide fraud or intimidation. a lot to follow on this. fox 5 angelie hemphill has more on what this means and the question, what did this report prove? did this prove that people who ok

been alleging? >> well, jim, it really all depends who you ask. this audit was supposed to bring answers on whether or not allegations of systemic fraud and intimidation exists. instead, the school bus remains divided with the data in front of them. it was this afternoon in front of the school bus where the ceo and chairman spoke to the media just one hour fored after this report was released. almost 5% of a sample group of students from the 2017 graduating classes did not have enough credits to graduate. and the graduation eligibility of hundreds of other students could not be determined because of missing or no documentation of grade changes. however, the ceo and chairman today blamed those discretions on school staff. saying there needs to be more effective communication and training on grading policies and reco

members for turning this into a political issue. ceo and chairmen admit there's room for improvement but pointed out this report show nod systemic fraud or intimidation which has been alleged by several who have spoken to fox 5 >> i've never done that. my team never done that and this report says that we've never done it. when those accusations are made, they're not about improving the system. those accusations are made about trying to disrupt and turn over leadership again in prince george's county. because a grade is a changed stop sign mean it was wrong. illegal, there are lots of legitimate reason it's why those happen. >> we believe that many issues could have been addressed through the only auditors and collaboration with leadership. it's outstanding when said and done this audit will cost about a half million.
