richmond. let's take a listen. as i said throughout the course of this campaign, governor elect northam is a good man and i appreciate his service to our country and our commonwealth and i wish him nothing but the best success as our 73rd governor and told him that if i could be helpful to him in making our commonwealth better, that i would be happy to do anything i could in that regard. this morning, president trump tweeted an urged virginia ys to vote for ed gillespie. he also weighed in via twitter. he wrote ed gillespie did not work hard but did not embrace me or what i stood for. with the economy do ing record numbers we will tin to win even bigger than before. the results of the other big races tonight, in virginia for the lieutenant governor as we mentioned, justin fairfax is the winner with the 99 percent of the precincts

happened? >> i just confirmed with an assistant chief here on the scene that this is now a deadly shooting, one of the two male victims has been pronounced dead . the other one is being treated at a nearby hospital. we are right in this alley alleyway near the 1300 block of written house street northwest and you can see that has been the focus of the police investigation here on scene tonight. they say that this call came in around l eight:20 tonight reporting that two adult mails were shot at. at this point there is no information about a motive, but we have been watching as flashes have been going off in this alley. crime scene technicians on scene taking photographic evidence here. there was a lookout for a red mustang, a possible vehicle of interest in this area, but at this point police say that they're not exactly sure if thread mustang is a suspect car, but right now no one is in custody again. a deadly

block of written house street northwest. we will have the very latest latest for you on an update at 11. evan lambert, fox5 local news. >> a former charles county teacher has been indicted for sexual abuse of a minor. police arrested 40 year old latoya nicole parker from waldorf after she was indicted on rnlg chas of sex abuse of a minor. they say the abuse happened between parker and a saint charles high school student between fall of 2016 and march of 2017. the charges come just months after police said another charles county school assistant who is h iv positive was found to have sexually victimized students and speaking of that case, a former charles county middle school assistant pleaded not guilty today to ten counts of child importantographer i charges. carlos bellies hiv positive and also charged with assaulting dozens of students. today he told the judge he would prefer a jury trial. if convicted he could face up to ten years in

crews gave kennedy high school in silver springs the all clear today. five staff members were taken to the complaining of dizziness and discomfort. a staffer found a student carrying the powder in a plastic bag. when they inspected it some of the powder spilled out on the floor. police initially speculated it was fentanyl but turned out to be another he list bit drug. they cleaned the spill area and deemed the school safe. >> we're learning new details about the suspected shooter involved in sunday's church killings in texas. the church's pastor says devon kelly attended a fall festival at the church in sutherland springs on halloween night just days before the shooting. while his behavior did not race any flags authorities say kelly was a troubled man. he was admitted to a mental health facility in new mexico in 2012 and later escaped. investigators say kelly killed 26 people in sunday 's

>> the tributes are still pouring in tonight from fans and colleagues of former major league baseball player roy halladay. he died in a plane crash deament his single engine jet crashed. divers found the plane and recovered the 40 year old's body. holiday was an a.m. amateur pilot and often posted on social media about planes. he even participatedded in a promotional video that made the plane that went down today. the local sheriff spoke out about the accident and recounted some of his interactions with the famous pitcher. we know roy as a person, as a caring husband who loved his wife brandy. he loved his two boys tremendously he coached our baseball teams. when he spoke of his family he spoke of pride. brandy and the boys and the entire family we are so sad for your loss. >> holiday spent 16 years in the major leerks 12 with the

graduating without meeting requirements. fox5's lindsay watts broke the story. >>reporter: the question remains, will anyone be punished after the disturbing findings of this audit? so far we have not heard of anybody who has been disciplined or lost their job and that includes the ceo of schools dr. kev kevin maxwell. he has retained support from his boss, the county executive and we learned today he the county council is also backing his well . the council members didn't let him off the hook easily. the report speaks to confusion and record -- sloppy recordkeeping. again today we heard poor recordkeeping is to blame for an audit that found widespread policy regulations. if we found people that did things that were wrong and inappropriate they will be disciplined appropriately. some in the county say this shouldn't fall on teachers
