norfolk and inside, billy's pants with dirt and debris on them. and "consistent with being removed while outside and on the ground ." witnesses later recalled seeing her car fitting that description parked in various charlotte north carolina neighborhoods where her body was found september 29. that property she was found is owned by and is next to the church where brown went to vacation bible school as a child. it's also 300 yards from brown's childhood home. >> fbi capped off their case by testing two pieces of dna on billy's body which came back for a match for brown. now, based on evidence brown has been charged with kidnapping and murder. we're going to continue ton the case to ing before you the latest as developments continue to come in. shawn. >> korey, thank you. new tonight the d.c. woman charged with throwing a cup of urine at metro bus driver

be sentenced tomorrow. tonight there's a push to make this kind after salt a felony. and "fox5" marina marraco is live in north west with the details, marina. >> shawn, tomorrow, could set the tone for future assaults for metro employees and assaults that happened on buses like this one. you'll remember this viral video of d.c. woman throwing a cup full of urine on metro bus driver in august, for days metro asked for public assistance identifying the suspect and she was identified as opal brown. here she is leaving court days late wher she went before a judge. she was charged with misdemeanor assault. she refused to show her face or make comments to the media. but she did eventually plead guilty and tomorrow, she will be sentenced. now, since there, there have been several more high profile assaults on metro operators. and tonight we spoke with council member jack evans as well as council member treon white both cointroduced this

these assaults to now be charged as felonies. >> it's a question if you increase penalty from 34-dz to felony will that deter crime or happen anyway. my view, i think it could be a deterrent if people realize their ak koz land them in j jail. and so consequently we feel this is important to protect our workers. >> is is it blanket felony so doesn't matter what kind of assault or is there degree after salt. >> there's always matter of subjectivity in the courts. it would be up to u.s. attorney obviously to charge a felony if u.s. attorney determined that the action taken by perpetrator deserved that to happen. the answer to the question there's always a degree. could be charges of misdemeanor but if this allows the u.s. attorney charge as a felony. >> and tonight, metro riders also weighed in on this new proposed legislation
