i wasn't trump otel >> moore's response to the new allegations. we begin tonight with breaking news out of prince georgia county. this is a live picture from skyfox tonight, this incident happened around 8:45 on 85th street in new carroliton. the man died at a hospital so far there's no word on a suspect or a motive, we'll get you more information as it becomes available. happening in prince georgia county. officers are searching for the driver who slammed into an apartment building. the crash forced two families from their homes, apartments now condemned, fox 5 lindsey watts is live in land over with new details on this

hit-and-run. lin lindsey? >> reporter: the man said he heard the noise and came outside to see what was going on and found that a car slammed into his wall. the man said initially the driver did stay on scene. the resident said he went back into the apartment to get a jacket's when he came back. the driver and the vehicle were both gone, we'll show you video of what we saw when we first arrived here today. initially when this happened around 1:40, the entire apartment building was evacuated. the damage was bad enough that the apartment hit and the one on top of it were both condemned. workers helped load up the two families belongings and did what they could to secure this

the crash was caught on surveillance video and we can show you some more of that video, you can see the silver sedan police believe it's a nissan, it doesn't slow down just hits the building and backs up. the family whose apartment was hit says they're very grateful that nobody got hurt. but at the same time, they want the driver to take responsibility for this. >> it really impacted us like we have to move it's been really hard >> nobody wants -- for what --. >> reporter: that mom obviously realizing how much worse this could have been if somebody was standing in the area when that car hit. prince george's county police again are still searching for the driver. they say they do have a license plate because of that surveillance video. they haven't released that tonight. they're wanting anyone with information to give anthem a call. live

fox 5 local news local roy moore denies the latest against him. a woman came forward and said he sexual assaulted her when she was 16. moore held a news conference with his wife by his side. he said the allegations are absolutely false. tonight he took it a step further. take a look. >> i can tell you without hesitation this is absolutely false. i never did what she said i did. i don't even know the woman, i don't know anything about her. i don't even know where the restaurant is or was. >> sarah simmons is live with the latest developments. sarah? >> it was a hastily called news conference after the recent accumulations surfaced. he said he did not know beverly young nelson and never did what she accuses him of. this is now the fifth woman to come forward accusing moore of sexual

>> reporter: on a recent weekday afternoon act half dozen homicide detectives decided to revisit the building where delores rivers was found murdered in november of last year. since then investigators have been tried to learn who the 75-year-old may have allowed into her apartment some time after 4:00 p.m. on saturday, november 5th. >> it was clear when i went in there the peep hole, some are cloudy. i could see straight to the front door of the front entrance >> she would have looked through the peep hole >> and questioned over and over again to make sure she opened the door >> they say their mother never would have opened the door to anyone she didn't know. the sisters learning what happened when she received

>> he was crying on phone and said i found mom in the bathroom. she's in the tub and she's not breathing. >> i'm panicking trying to figure out what -- i don't know what to make of it, and only thing i could say is stay right there i'm on my way. >> outside the apartment, they found william in tears >> he's on the ground trying to get himself together. it was really emotional. >> they were very close. they would go to the markets on the weekend together. very close. >> reporter: police and family members say there was nothing taken from the apartment. it wasn't ransacked and no forced entry to the front door. the last time anyone heard from delores was the day before her body was found here inside her apartment. she had two phone conversations one way a friend from work and one with a

conversations were normal. there was nothing out of the ordinary. a year later, the murder is still unsolved >> we've been doing numerous interviews on this case. it is our belief that the suspect in this case was familiar with her or she was familiar with the suspect. we do not believe it was a random act by any means. >> reporter: lieutenant o'donnell and ken doyle say they used a weapon but declined to say if it was found at the scene. >> nothing looked to be out of place inside the apartment >> nothing was taken. >> nothing was taken, no. >>reporter: so you really not come up with a viable motive other than someone had it out for her for some reason >> correct. >> reporter: rivers spent her career working as a technician at the now closed dc general hospital retired on a government pension but kept busy with a job as a bus aid with prince george's county schools. she didn't

yet. they any there were reports of people running from the scene after the shooting. but at this point, they couldn't provide any suspect description or a sense of a motive. alabama senate candidate roy moore denies the latest against him. another woman came forward tonight. he held a news conference and said the allegations are false. mitch mcconnell and other republicans are now calling on to end his campaign. police are looking for the driver of a car that crashed in an apartment building in land over. this happened this afternoon at the building on dodge park road. two of the apartments to the building had been condemned because of the damage and someone that lives there tells fox 5, the driver stay on scene saying his brakes failed. the person went inside to get a jacket. when he came outside, the driver was gone.

donald trump junior released his direct messages with wikileaks of their correspondence during the campaign, wikileaks first reached out to don junior in september of 2016. wikileaks asked for his cooperation and sharing its work contesting the results of election and contesting that julian assange bee the ambassador. president trump tweeted about the hacked e-mails of hillary clinton's campaign manager 15 minutes after wikileaks messaged don junior about that topic. it's been nearly a year after the protest on president trump's inauguration day in the case against those still makes it's its way through the courts. a dc superior court judge. prosecutors want to search three facebook accounts including one belonging to the group that

more than 200 people were arrested they're still facing felony riot be chans, a number of police officers were hurt during the riot goes. in the district. mayor bowser spoke about how the gop's tax reform could impact the city and residents. the reform bill would eliminate private bonds which are tax exempt's bonds. here in dc, the ponds helped fund charter schools, museums and georgetown university. since 2010, they have also funded more than 9,000 units of affordable housing in dc. mayor says the elimination will also impact fordable housing for veterans and families. >> if they remove and eliminate pabes, they would devastate our ability to help our most deserving residents. >> they're optimistic they have the votes to pass the plan in the house

that's why we'll have a slight, for the showers that we had turned into snow as you got north of boston up into maine. first measurable snow. high thin clouds trying to come on through late tonight those clouds will not do much to keep us warm, we're seeing frederick and gaithersburg down to 37, culpeper down to 35, baltimore at 37, frederick down to 39. everybody headed for the 30's, what you will not see for the most part going forward are freeze warnings, we had our big freeze and a record cold 26 from degrees saturday morning in dc, you will drop below freezing in hagerstown frederick down to 32. you'll be close by in martinsberg at 33, and dc drops to about 39, it's a chilly start. high pressure will be overhead, a brisk afternoon as temperatures try to climb back into the low 50's, that's below average which is 59 this time
