as well. this afternoon you're in great shape again it will be cooler than yesterday so take your jacket before you head out. daytime highs in the low 50s and again breezes not as strong as yesterday but still out of the north and west about ten to 15. all right. guys. enjoy the show. back to you. >> thank you tucker. >> thank you, tucker. >> let's go ahead and get to our big story at 9:00 today. breaking news from overnight. a huge fire at a nursing home outside philadelphia that left more than 20 people hurt. the fire was reported just before last night at a senior living facility in west chester, pennsylvania. about 35 miles west of philadelphia. quickly went to five alarms. take look at this video here. you can see just how massive the blaze was. the fire quickly spread to multiple buildings. flames could be seen shooting from the roofs and windows of the structures. more than a hundred residents were forced to evacuate outside into the cold with temperatures hovering around the low 40s last night. dozens of people could be seen on the lawn or along the street wrapped in bnk

many of them had to be pushed in wheel chairs or rolled on beds to safety. emergency officials say at least 20 people were taken to area hospitals for treatment. no immediate word on the conditions of those injured. as for the others they have been taken to several other facilities making it confusing for in family members trying to figure out if their loved one is okay. now the local chapter of the american reduces said on twitter that it had multiple teams on the scene and that it was working with county officials and facility staff to assist displaced residents the cause of the fire still unknown. maureen. >> dzhokhar breaking. thanks hold. on the big story this morning new sexual misconduct allegations involving members of congress. and this time it's again democratic senator al franken. he's now apologizing for forcibly kissing and then groping a woman and as you can see, there's photographic proof. now president trump is weighing in on the scandal. fox5's melanie alnwick is live on the hill now with the latest. mel? >> reporter: you're on the hill. >> trump administration but now

meanwhile here at home fairfax county teacher is on leave this morning because of something that happened inside of the classroom. accused of pulling hijab off muslim student's head the alleged incident happened yesterday lake braddock secondary school in burke. the student tweeted she was shocked and infuriated buy my hijab was ripped off my head today by a teacher i appreciate and valued i was in the middle of conversation and he came behind me and ripped it off. your hair is so pretty and tries to play it off like it's a joke. this story getting a lot of attention. some say it was by accident. while others say the teacher shouldn't have put his hands on her to begin with. the entire school is talking about the incident. here's what some students had to say. >> some people say it was intentional and others are saying that it was unintentional because of how she wears her hijab. >> the whole is talking about this would you say? >> yes. i hear about it in the hallway. i've had multiple people come and ask me if i heard about it, and if they know i

good morning. the grand opening is really officially tomorrow. there's a dedication ceremony at 10:30 this morning. i'm on the great staircase here between the second and first floors. joining us this morning is jeremy burton the director of communications here at museum of the bible. technically really it's at fourth and d southwest just to let people know. and jeremy, tell me about this. a museum dedicated to this book. this one book. >> yeah, dedicated to the bible. we are inviting all people to engage with the history narrative and impact to the bible right here in washington, d.c. a couple of blocks south of the air and space museum. just a beautiful facility. we're excited. there's a lot of activity going on right now as we have all these people coming in for the dedication. you'll see all the screens are in the lobby. it's a $500 million project. that we spent about $42 million in technology. and we just to invite everyone watching this broadcast invite your family and friends and come see museum of the bible. >> you have historicrt

the workplace. we have focused on kindness for so many years with young people. they're growing up. they're entering the work force, and it's an important message to take there as well. >> that was really a message that, um, lady gaga w wanted to send out from day one, isn't it? >> it is. she had lot of struggles growing up as a young person that affected her very deeply. she ended up developing anxiety and depression as a result. because of meanness and cruelty in her life. so this is something she's been passionate about for a very long time. >> reporter: she's been pretty open about talking about some of those struggles and born this way obviously is promoting more people to talk about it whether it's a good or bad thing. i mean talking about it certainly helps, right? so born this way you've been able to reach out to young lives, help people victims. tell us more about some of the things you've been able to do. >> she talk about this from the beginning, and it start to do less season 98 with her fans and we realized that so many of them had similar

creating safe spaces for young people to have positive environments. we focus on reducing the stigma around mental health, and generally making kindness cool. we've also introduced some very interesting programs we're here on tour. we travel on tour with her. and create community events, pop up events we're visiting with martha's table here in d.c. this afternoon that's been open for 30 some years in d.c. we've also introduced a really interesting initiative called channel kindness. we've taped youth reporter ace round the country to report on acts of kindness and goodness in their communities. >> reporter: wonderful. speaking of tours she's coming to dc to capitol a rona on sunday, and recently she was doing a concert. she stopped the concert, got down and asked a fan if they were okay because she noticed the fan was bleeding. i mean this is someone who is truly living the essence of kindsness ery

role in this movie and he gives you really high marks for this movie which i think is great compliment coming from kevin i'm sure you heard it from many other people. you're mr. brown but yet you went to brown. is that a coincidence or not? [ laughter ] >> totally coincidental. in fact it never crossed my mine until you mentioned it just now. >> what's it like for you getting a chance to be in this movie. >> i know you've done tv before getting a chance to be in this movie now. it's something a little different from being on the stage as we mostly know from you hamilton. >> yeah. yeah. it was very different. i actually shot this the day i left hamilton. i had my last show and flew to vancouver to start shooting the next day. and so i was kind of you know my brain was all over the place, but steven, an incredible director and sort of took on the task of calming me down and showing me the parameters and then getting to work with all these incredible young actors

than me, and were very helpful. they actually, you know, i learned so much from working with them. so it was a great first film experience and i hope to do a lot more but also i am very very proud that this was the first one. >> i think that's speaks volumes. i have no doubt you'll do many more i think you nailed it in this role. but i'm curious you mentioned about doing this literal the next day after hamilton. you know we've talk to actors before that transition from stage to screen. to do that in one day, you know, to go from a stage product that is just zocor yo graphed once you start you never stop to movies really it seals like all you do is start and stop. mentally how do you handle that transition? >> i think fortunately for me i didn't have time to think about it. i just had to do it. i think that actually helped me quite a bit. and also, fortunately for me i was playing a teacher and i have been a teacher in my life.

grounded. it was a character i understood. so a lot of the like acting work was done and then it's just about figuring out how to manage your energy and make sure that you can really be present and all the way on while the cameras are running. but like i said, it was a steep learning curve for me and still is for everything. i'm doing a lot of things that are new for me right now. so i just try to take it as much as information as i can. >> i mean fifth i think that's an understatement daveed when you talk about, you know, what you've done in relatively short am of time and i mentioned brown. i ment mention went to ivy leage school. you're ncaa athlete. you go on to star in the biggest broad kay show that happened and now you're doing movies, executive producing on tv shows. are you literally living out every dream you ever had at this point? >> i think we flew past my dreams a little while ago. but, yeah, we're doing -- we're through the looking glass

this point. i'm just trying things out. it's very lucky. i'm aware, you know, i'm also -- i'm 35 like i spent a lot of time just sort of doing my thing with nobody paying attention and so it is rare i think for an artist to have this kind of opportunity so i'm trying to do it all while it lasts because i know this business is also fickle and i won't get these kind of opportunities forever i'm really taking all of the opportunities while i have them. >> put in the hard work and the receipt ward will come. you're reaping those rewards now through the hard work you put night. final thing before we go when it comes to the movie wonder how many boxes of tissues do we have to bring to the theater with us? >> if you can go to costco and just get like a crate. we're tack bowing brining the turkey and the steps to pre pair it what are some tips you can give us quick toll carve into that? i know we we don't have the knives with us. give us quick timms. >> one most common people start with the breast come straight across. just like that. one of the best things you can do is take the leg off and then the thigh off first on each side. that way you've got the breast free and clear to work with. the problem you're cutting with the grain here. it makes it tough. take the whole breast off put it on your cutting board and shop carve across the grain. >> do you need an electric knife. >> no. i don't recommend an electric 95 at all. it tears the meat up there when i was a kid growing my grandpa would cut the turkey and he had this big electrify set out. it was fun to watch but you don't need all that as long as you cut it right with the thighs off first. >> correct. >> good to know. any other tips. we have dessert. we added whipped cream we have the pies. if you want to bake a pie, what's the best way to not burn the crust? >> you can you want to first pre ba
