with many of other tricia's friends, duane johnson, that's the killer, a few feet away from all of us. all of them. they said tricia was known for her smile, her laughed, and her kindness. now, the details surrounding this are awful. prosecutors say tricia encountered johnson on the drive over to a friend's christmas dinner party. johnson raped her and used her scarf to strangle her. we're learning she fought back after johnson was arrested near tricia's car. he had numerous injuries including a fractured jaw. johnson at first denied it then admitted he was responsible. a plea agreement was reached and we heard tricia's family agreed 230 years in prison and supervised release. >> we you know, know that, know sentence will really provide for the healing that her friends and

johnson did apologize through an attorney saying that he knows whatever he said in court today, cannot change what took place. in bloomingdale tonight matt ackland fox 5 local news. an alexandria man is accused of assaulting a woman riding a metrobus. the man also is accused of indecent exposure and this is not his first offense. tisha lewis is live in alexandria tonight with more on this story that's getting a lot of attention. >> reporter: hey there, jim, hi, sarah, the incident happened or ended at least at this alexandria intersection near this bus stop. now, the suspect has apparently committed the same crime not once, not twice, but get this, this case marks the fifth instance of indecent exposure and other allude acts by this man on board a metrobus. now, we're talking about 48-year-old duane henry walker. he was

transit police thursday afternoon after he reportedly exposed himself and then assaulted a passenger aboard a metrobus. police say they were called and responded to this intersection near north bear guard street and fair to guard avenue in alexandria. the victim was a woman who said she does not know him and boarded the bus at the pentagon transit center. he moved closer and then began leaning against her and masterbating. the victim confronted the suspect, stood up and walked to the front of the bus to notify the bus operator who then called police. >> when they're victimized in that way freak. and so for her to take steps, which she's done, they're doing more than any public transit agency in the country to address sexual harassment, by putting up ads on the metro with supportive messages to people who are likely to be targeted. let's
