>> hi, everyone, president trump reversing course and he's now throwing his full support behind alabama senate candidate roy moore. they lost one of the longest serving members. as you can see on the run down. the republican national committee re established support for alabama senate candidate roy moore. this is the wrong video here. this is actually video of john conyers who as you know earlier today announced his retirement. we're going to talk a little bit more about that coming up. first if we can get back to the rnc. as you know they initially cut ties' they accused roy of sexual

. president trump tweeted his support for moore and tweeted \another\ear will push forward on tax reform and immigration. >> and the ton see one on skype mike is a republican, anton is a democrat. let's start off first and foremost, a little bit of a reverse course and even mitchell mcconnell before when he called for roy moore to pull out of the race he said let's let the people of alabama say. receipts ' start with you. roy moore is a very problematic candidate. it remains to be see what happens when he gets here to shall what than to. i agree at this point your option is between the seat flipping to the democratic side or roy mower coming in and figuring out how to deal with that member of the senate once he gets here. there are so many things on the table that need to be resolved annulus sing that vote in that seat, especially in
6:32 pm
just something that can't be tolerated. i think the establishment has flipped. they've gone all in for moore. the president has directed the r nc to do that. i think roy moore will be elected to the united states senate and it remains to be seen when his case is referred to the senate ethics committee. what does this say about our society or the republican party as a hoavment first the rnc says we're not going to get behind him. president trump decided to endorse him and now they're behind him because they want to make sure that a republican gets into office. is this more about politics than it is integrity. once again the republican party is putting politics ahead of do ing the right thing. my problem on the right side roy mower is probleatic and he's saying we're going to put politics before doing the right thing and set an example for the american people and trying to change a culture. we've seen this movie before. we've seen the rnc pull back on their initiative when the

we're going through now. this, too, shall pass. >> and we should point out that there was a settlement paid out, taxpayer money in regards to certain al gaitions made against the congressman. he is now endorsing his son to take his seat in congress. we'll have to do when to decide a special election for that. this goes back to the whole culture of what we're talking about from hollywood to capital hill and certainly in every day life with the whole culture of what's been coming to light. if we continue to allow the behavior, what does it say to those women, to those men who are victims out there if nothing changes? i this i we should point out, too, this is a problem on both sides of the aisle. you had accident isabella has ter, the former speaker of the house, ended up going to jail for paying out hush money in regards to sexual misconduct years and years and years ago when he was a coach. >> right. something has to change somewhere. >> there are new numbers out somewhere t
