pled guilty to kidnapping and killing pamela butler has reportedly told investigators, where he disposed of her body now as part of a plea deal, jose rodriguez-cruz reportedly told police he burried her along i59 in virginia. a source close to the investigation tells fox5, police are now planning a search for butler's remains. now, butler and jose rodriguez-cruz were in a relationship before he reportedly admitting to killing her during a argument. investigators determined the fatal attack happened in the basement of her home. in october, rodriguez-cruz pleaded to second agree murder, ten tensed to 12 years behind bars, butler family language wanted to lay their loved ones to rest to give her proper burial n court the judge reminded rodriguez-cruz if he did not make good fate effort to help investigators finds butler's body he could be charged with first degree murder. we'll continue to follow ts

early this morning, in the bellaire area of los angeles. this is video from the morning commute near la today. the huge flames surrounding a busy highway. this is what people had to drive through to get to work. hundreds of fire fight remembers battling the flames, both on the grounds and by air, dropping water and fire retardant. in some areas planes had to be grounded because it was just too dangerous to fly. hundreds of homes have been destroyed even more are threatened, and evacuation orders now in place for tens of thousands of people. been here all my life. tune see this happen right now, it is crazy. >> high winds in the area are making the fires difficult to fight, and there doesn't seem to be relief in site because winds are expected to continue through tomorrow. among the homes threatened by the wild fires, is that of rupert murdoch, executive chairman of fox news, owns vinyards and 7500 square foot home in bellaire. the winery issued a statement on twitter saying we are watching the situation unfold, very carefully, along with everyone else. our main concern at the moment is for the

throat thing going, right? well, we are back to the drier air, temperatures are going to continue to stay on the chilly side. because we have pretty good re-supply still showing up on the weather map when places like minneapolis are still 16, fair go, two; the flow will continue, generally, out of the northwest. now, want to show you the evening forecast, because while it is not windy, it will be getting chillier, although not going to be brutally cold as we work our way through 7:00 to 11:00. 43 degrees at 7:00. by 9:00, 42, by 11:00, 40. of course i'm not even going to show you the high temperatures today. those were hit at 1:00 in the morning when we were still in the mid 50's in many areas. but, here is something i do want to show you. the frontal boundery that came by last night with the showers has now kind of stalled, down along the north carolina and virginia coast here. what happens when these fronts stall, they attract waves of low pressure, and you can see that there is one moving along the front. bringing some rain to places like the raleigh area, eventually that's going to work its way into norfolk. we have to watch this area.

as we are about to feel very wintery, getting into the seven day forecast, we start off with your weather headlines, we get into tonight, and tomorrow, the chilly weather their stay. back to normal for december. turning even colder, as a cold front comes by on friday, that might elicit some snow far south and east of us friday night into saturday morning. but it doesn't look like it will impact the district. passing flurries though do look like they could possibly impact us this weekend. nothing that should have be too big after deal, but still coal enough for snow flurries out there. that tells you something. forty-six in d.c. right now. forty-two gaithersburg, 42 in baltimore, low 40's north and west. so we are seeing those chilly temperatures return to our regional map. forty-two, new york city, 31 binghampton. you have 30's north and west, where it is colder. thirty-four in chicago, 36 in detroit. pretty much clear skies, a lot of cloud cover today. showers, rain showers, that; have stayed toward the south, actually lake effect snow been ongoing all day off both lake erie and ontario.

of buffalo. all the way out toward rochester, syracuse, then up toward watertown, new york, they get it every year no matter what, those lakes are relatively warmer, allowing for that snow to pile up. all right, as we get into friday night, saturday, here comes our first chance in the winter season to see some flakes in some parts of the area. it is a close call. we have front moving off shore, low pressure trying to form along it, but it might just be little too far off shore for us to see anything, if there is a chance to see a flake or two, it will likely be far south and east of 95. and that would probably be during the overnight hours. future cast not impressed as we look at about 9:00 a.m. friday. and there has been a lot of back and forth with this, so take it for what it is. you can see this wants to keep the front well toward our south and east, so that by the time you get any snowflakes, that would be grazing southeast virginia, interior part of north carolina and virtually giving us nothing but cloud cover. however, i say the beach, eastern shore, maybe even extreme s
