throughout the day yesterday and today, representatives with reagan and dulles anything like that say yesterday and today are typically the busiest travel days of the year. and they say that it must be a christmas miracle this time, because the air conditioners are actually, even though quite populated. they're not any busier than any other day. to accommodate some put more weary travelers they got therapy dogs available at the airports and some were treated to makes over during their long lay over, but also being extra to help for those stressful days. hundreds of passengers had to evacuate until things were cleared. no fire was found but all those travelers had to go through security all over again. and at other airports across the nation, we're talking los angeles, new york, chicago, philadelphia, much longer than average wait times due t

investigating what caused the shooting. if you take a close look over my right shoulder, you might be able to spot detectives going upstairs and downstairs, and throughout the home taking pictures, a home that is now turn a crime scene. and police tell us the shooter is either among the deceased the injured or one of several people who were inside the home at the time of this tragedy. . knees people, pleasant nice people, pleasant, everybody liked them. they had a nice open house to celebrate. that they moved in and everything. so you know, a lot of the in writing were, you know, super nice. >> reporter: police say the call came in

around 5:00 this morning, when investigators is arrived, 43-year-old buckley fricker and her husband were dead. a third was injured and taken to the hospital said to be in critical condition. neighbors say the family just moved to this home overtime summer back in august. police say at least one child lived in the home and neighbors tell us the couple had three children. it remains a mystery what caused the shooting. detectives spent the evening gathering evidence from inside the home, also scouting outside the home as they continue to piece this together >> there were several others in the home at the time, they were being interviewed by police. there's no threat to public safety. detectives say the shooters are either mentioning the one in hospital, the deceased or one of the ones they're interviewing at this time. >> reporter: buckley fricker one of the

. today a service was held for the northeast dc woman whose murder remains unsolved. ♪ ♪s dozened to gathered to pay tribute to joan me rockingham. her body were was found in northeast. police say she was stabbed to death but no word on suspects in the case, her family said they hope someone will step forward with information. she was 53 years old.

woman is in jail after allegedly told play to from a target school in stafford. it wasn't just the alleged theft that land her behind bar when, deputies's confronted her, she lied about her identity. investigators determined she's wanted in west virginia on is destruction of property charges. they also found a small amount of marijuana and contraband in her purse. an elderly couple was looking to president holiday cheer until stopped by police. during a traffic stop officers discovered 60 pounds of marijuana in their truck. worth more than $330,000. the couple claimeded weed was for christmas presents on their way to vermont. they were taken thigh custody for felony drug charges >> there's rules. and it's not too late to get your loved one a legal last minute given the. a pair of retail chains
