dulles and bwi. here's a look at snow headed our way. it's a very fast-moving clipper system. it's going to stick, however, so we have icy spots to be concern about and we're not talking a lot in terms accumulation as far as the area is concerned. and that's one thing to hold in mind. and this is a clipper system. it's not a major storm at all. and the question s. how will it hold up once it moves its way across mountains. and tonight, we're seeing the clouds all ahead of. it and but once it does move through we'll get maybe an inch or a little less accumulation along that i 95 corridor. i'll have more details in the full forecast, coming up in a bit, back to you. >> thank you, gwen. the virginia departent of transportation says crews will be out this evening to treat roads. since the roads are cold any snow will likely stick. and drivers should pay attention to any ice that may develop on wet spots that will create slick conditions. and vdot urging drivers to stay off the roads ft. weather takes a tun. and the district snow team also going into action ton

right now. and police have not released any other details at this t time. we're also following the investigation into the apparent murder of a woman in southeast. police were called to adrian place just off ridge road last night to respond to a car f fire. and once the fire was put out, officers discovered a woman's body in the trunk. investigators say the woman was shot several times. so far, no word on her identity or on who may be responsible for her death. more than a dozen fbi agents raided a home in northern virginia today. this happened on a quiet street in sterling. "fox5" korey kawvr man joins us live from the scene. korey, what details have you been able to find out? >> well, right now, auth authorities are being tight-lipped we've been able to find out a little from not only neighbors but other authorities as well. so, first i want to let you know the neighborhood we're in this is courtyard square in sterling a town home community and fairly extensive. and take a look at this unit here.

activity happened this morning and what i want to point out to you is the door here. you can see there's a lock box on the door and there's damage to the door. and now i spoke what a neighbor earlier she told me she lives close and her daughter heard the fbi call into this unit here and heard a loud bang. >> and have we noticed anything and mom, what's going on and there's fbi agents everywhere. they're like i don't know i just knocked on somebody's door and said open this up is the dpxt b sglixt i was two doors down from my house. >> the neighbor tells thus has been going on since this morning and we received reports of aer is is. warrant being served and the fbi confirming only court authorized law enforcement activity. they would not tell us any more at that point. and we've seen more than a dozen people here. fbi is the lead on this case and we know loudoun count

virginia state police are assisting and there's even a mobile command unit out here for several hours. neighbors gathering outside wonder what is going on. it's pretty quiet. it's not a bad neighborhood. i'm not quite sure what to think, honestly, i'm curious at this point. and now with all the agents coming and going we've seen multiple boxes piled up inside the home. authorities load aid majority of materials into cars and command unit at this poym. at this point we need to find out who lived here and more details about this case and neighbors tell us, the man that they had seen who they believe moved in at the end of summer, they say he was cordial and they say he received many amazon packages and activity as of right now quieted down. it would appear that the neighborhood is back to normal. at least for now. reporting live in sterling, korey kauffman, "fox5 local news". >> and we're learning more

say shot and killed his wife and led schaffer's deputies on a dangerous chase along i 95 in stafford county. gregory lee had an extensive criminal record and he was convicted of sexual assault in alexandria back in 1999. in court records show he was convicted fis twice of ass assaulting a law enforcement officer. once in 996 and then in 2006. and investigators believed lee shot and killed himself as deputies moved in on him yesterday. earlier he allegedly shot and killed his wife in their apartment in fredericksburg. >> now to a follow up in a deadly car crash in charles county that killed three people. investigators have identified another victim as ganzi kenith dyson jr.. he was a passenger in the car. crash happened on december 6 rose hill road in la playta and cellphone video captured the moments right after the crash the car hit a tree and caught on fire and the driver eric lamont months died at the hospital and the

was not been identified. and we're learning more about that massive apartment building fire in new york c city. and the flames killed twelve people last night including four children. and the new york fire commissioner says it was started by a child who was playing with a stove. the boy's mother heard him extreme, saw the flames and ran outside with him and his sister. and the front door of her apartment was left off open an that caused the fire to quickly spread. >> the fire travels up the staish way acted like a chimney. it took the fire so quickly upstairs that people had very little time to react. they could not get back down the stairs. >> literally screaming and that's how we knew it was trouble. people were screaming, fire, help, fire, help. >> and even after escaping safely survivors faced another life-threatening kheching and that was the bitter cold. >> awful story. >> three months after hurricane maria roughly half of puerto rico is still woud power. that's nearly 1.5 million customers
