suitland parkway in october. they have now been identified as his. the police report states that he was shot multiple times inside of an apartment along mlk apartment in southeast d.c. his grandmother tells us that is news to herment he had been missing since april and she was the one who eventually found his car in northeast d.c. after police told her it had registered in that area on a gps tractor. i was driving around that day in alleys and every where i could drive looking and i was coming down easton t avenue and i just got a hunch to turn down foot street and it was the third car parked there. i had beginning to feel like he was gone because of the behavior . it's not him. he never not come home or contact one of us ever. he never do that for no three and four days i'm like he had to go to work. he was really excited about his job. he wouldn't just disappear like that. i knew something was not

and she said she never seen him, she never met him h. she don't know who they're talking about. the detectives say she nt el right didn't believe her story. he had to have something to tie her to. he was not trash. he didn't deserve what he got. nor did he disee serve to be thrown away like trash. just thrown somewhere. it does help to know that he's not laying out there anymore. i don't have to drive around thinking about that. >> cook says the family is now planning a funeral service but they want to know who is responsible formatter i's death d.c. police are offering a re ward of up to $25,000 in the case. >> to prince george's county high school students are recovering after they were attacked with a knife today at school. it happened this morning at central high school in capital heights. investigat ors told us three male students got into a dispute which led to a fight. one student pulled out a knife and cut the other two. the school was briefly placed on lock down.

camera by a man walking nearby. in the video you can hear that man desperately plead with security guards not to leave the woman out in the cold. earlier today the university of maryland medical center responded to the video. we believe firmly that we provided appropriate medical care to a patient who came to us in need. where we absolutely failed and where we own that failure is in the democrat straition of basic humanity and compassion. the man who filmed the video of the woman tells us although the hospital apologized it's not enough. he's demanding a full investigation into what went wrong. the hospital says they're investigating. he says someone outside the hospital needs to do that. we're told woman is now back home with her family. to see that is very disturbing. i'm glad she is back home. me, too. and hopefully this will be further addressed. >> absolutely. >> well, the search for victims

live with the story. evan, what do we know. >>reporter: the school district has opened up an investigation into these parents' allegations they tell us that their daughter s would be practicing in this gymnasium, but because of their complaints here the coach here disbanded the novice cheer squad. we all don't understand coaching, but calling a young lady, constantly calling her other words to her fair, calling her dumb, stupid and telling her that she's not good enough to be part of the program is unacceptable. through community activist and state senate at least a half dozen parents say their daughters are being harassed, bullied and hazed by cheerleading coaches at the school. the group asked browning to speak on their behalf because they don't want their daughters to be

schools ceo dr. kevin maxwell. in a letter the parents speak of coaches calling their daughters profane names, not properly accounting for cash payments collected as program fees and even physically hazing the girls who were on the novice cheer team. pushing some of these young ladies past the point of exhaustion, wh where they're throwing up and physically ill and they're threatened not to tell their parents about it because they would be thrown off the team. in copies of their daughters' own staipts, the girls write they are tweeted very badly and that coaches would always curse. we took those l a gas stations to school spokesman john white. we always want to make sure that our staff and our couches are treating children with the same respect that they would want to receive and so we take the allegations serious limit we have begun to interview students as well as adults into the building to find out exactly what has occurred. the district wouldn't say what they've learned from the interviews. the parents want the coaches replaced, a f

now today we got 60s. still so mild tonight and speaking of the california mudslides that's some of the rain we're going to be seeing tomorrow. the damage is still going on out there, the slides continue. part of the rainy system it's pretty enormous. shawn, tony, you may have heard me mention this last night, we need this rain. we go from extreme rain and mud sliesdz in california and now we're going to get a little l taste of that, too, to make up our deficit. don't be surprised especially if you live in southern maryland that you might get a rumble of thunder out of this. we're just seeing a couple of light showers, but what about the all important thursday morning rush. what are you you going to be running into ? the rain is going to increase. there will be some much pennsylvanias of moderate rain especially east of the beltway and 95 on either side there of the bay. now, as we go into the noon hour

some rain around. not everybody is seeing it. it seems to be more prevalent kind of ease of 95 for the early part of the day . you'll have to keep that umbrella handy. look at some of these heavier down pours that we're seeing moving over southern maryland into delaware it won't rain all day. i think there will be a few dry hours tomorrow evening, maybe 7:00. it sure is going to be warm, but the last big who are raised tonight is when the front cross es. that comes through friday night into saturday morning and a it may end briefly with a little bit of this, a little bit of snow or maybe even some sleet. the rain will cut off on saturday morning and so will the heat because after that front crosses, temperatures are literally going to crash as we head through the day and even as late as the noon hour we could still be seeing a few flurries here and there. tomorrow afternoon, how about 67-degrees again with some showers around. sixty-six for

for cull perp and 66-degrees as we look up towards martinsburg. after we get the rain out of here and again into saturday it really is going to crash in a big way and these temperatures that we're seeing tonight into the upper 50s are going to be replaced by temperatures in the low -- upper 20s to low 20s as we go through the night saturday and also sunday and wind chills to boot. we'll take you through the nfl player and a closer look at the weekend in just a few minutes. >> new tonight, good news for commuters, the 355 bridge over the ma knock see river is back over. mdot tells us emergency repairs were made in record time . a garbage truck hit the bridge back in december causing significant damage. the repairs were estimated to take up to 606 days, but the bridge is now safe for travel. metro is making an evident to make things better and safer for riders. today the board discussed plans to refund riders who were delayed more than 15 minutes during rush hour .

president trump seems to have frustrated some of his colleagues on capital hill and others following alleged comments he made about immigrants from haiti, el salvador and after frik can countries, some lawmakers talked about restoring as part of a bipartisan deal. president trump replied saying quote why are we having all these people from ex blahtive countries, he used a word that we can't use on tv. he apparently went onto suggest that the us should bring more people from countries like norway. just yesterday of course he met

prime minister at the white house. the white house is not denying that the president made the comments, adding that the president will only accept an immigration deal that adequately addresses the visa lottery system and chain migration. needless to say this has created a bit of a fire storm on social media. a lot of people are reacting to it and say it was ignorant and just ridiculous that he made the comments. i just want to hair this, our own colleague maureen umeh who is of nigerian desent. she wrote as an african immigrant his comments show nothing about hate . i can't with this guy anymore. that has been the from a lot of people. i'm sure this is not dying down despite the white house not denying it at all. i think a lot of people are concerned that it will play into the president's base. there are a lot of comments that the president and politicians make that you can arg yurks you know,

10:30 starts right now. welcome back, a local man who went missing after going to meet up with a woman from a dating site has been found dead. twenty-two year old marty macmillan has been found murdered. his remains were found on the side of suitland parkway in okay. it took until now for police to identify the body. macmillan was shot multiple times. up to a $25,000 reward is offered for information in the case. two prince george's county high school students are recovering after they were attacked with a knife today at school. it happened this morning at central high in capital heights. investigators tell fox5 three male students got into a dispute that lead to a fight in the hallway. one student pulled out a knife for a brief time the school was on lock down. full responsibility for its actions after this video surfaced. it shows a woman in a thin hospital gown left outside in the cold at a bus stop on wednesday night. the hospital says it

provided appropriate medical care for the patient, but that it failed to demonstrate compassion. the hospital system is investigating the incident and reviewing its discharge policies. in the district, a bold thieve steels from a downtown northwest jewelry store not once, but twice. been son's jewelers was burglarized before christmas. it happened again on sunday. corey coffin talked to the other than. she's life with more. >>reporter: he told me he was actually surprised that it happened again. he does believe the same person hit it twice. right now it's fairly busy in the downtown area. we got mix and a lieutenant of people walk ing through. in the middle of the night this place clears out which made it easy for the thieves to pull up their van and burglar ice the place. the first video is from december 13 that's where the suspect is able to get in with a brick smashing the front door and

for the watch cabinet. when he tries to hit the other glas cases it's not so easy. he kick s several times with no luck , though, he leaves without the rest of the jewelry and a waiting van. let's go to the second video. this is from the second burglary january 7. you can see two people busting in. this time the thieve is prepared with a harym. he smashes several cases. eventually they were able to get away with $23,000 worth of merchandise and that because it was the second time in just a month he's decided to make some changes. protect the windows better with some special film on it so they can't bust through it with a brick. it takes a lot of effort . i'm going to put a special film on the glass. and he also tells me he will be out a couple thousand dollars to have to fix that door. simon also say the reason he

rachel bond a cardiology gist with emergency room experience says you should not use waiting time as the determining factor of which one to visit when you're sick or injured. when really should you go to the emergency room or when you think something is more life threatening such as chest pain, a sudden fainting spell or arrested on an outstanding seizure, for example. if you notice that you have sort of an episode of numbness that sort of is a quicken onset associated with paralysis or inability to move a limb. as for visiting urgent care, a city md spokesperson suggests do so if you have a sprain or fracture and you you need an stray. a laceration needing stitches or a cold or fever. if you're not really sure what to do. you think it's serious but then you think you're over reacting. dr. rachel bond suggests that you see your primary care physician first. they'll be able to tell you so giving them a call they may even say you don't have on go to either. you can come in to see me for an
