it will try to change that over the rain. i think this is way over done in terms of temperatures climbing into the low 40's. those areas along 95 internal rain during the evening. we may see plain old rain by the evening hours. a pretty good accumulation of some ice. mainly freezing rain with some sleet and snow. that could continue. the whole thing winds down as we get past midnight temporarily. the moisture will bring some snow especially to the virginia border counties. the main problem looks to be freezing rain.

temperatures down to 33 degrees. 32 at roxboro now. 38 degrees and lumberton. it will stay dry tomorrow and all of tomorrow evening. if you have any plans errands to run do that before the storm comes. areas north south and east picked up a little bit more. here's the storm now is going to take shape. as it presses into tennessee is going get some energy in the atmosphere. eventually the atlantic. all signs point to this becoming a powerhouse storm for the east coast. the night mostly clear. becoming mostly clear. temperatures in the mid 20's and upper 20's. great day tomorrow.

low to mid 40's, partly to sunny skies. nice quiet day with high pressure building in. this highs going to get stuck over pennsylvania. and continue to funnel cold air in here. it doesn't really move away gets up into new england and a northerly flow of air. well over tennessee. this will become the primary storm. moving slowly up the coast. if it comes in land it will bring in some warm air and it could be a quick changeover to rain but that doesn't look likely. it would probably keep us in the colder air much of the time. for us a wintry mix. you have got everything on the table from some snow to freezing rain and rain. everything is on the table. it is going to be a crippling storm that is mostly snow. here's what we think.

midnight. toward sunrise we start to see wintry mix. quickly transitioning to sleet and freezing rain. during the day friday. this looks to be mainly a nice event. the warmer air tries to come in and changeover to rain. i think it is going little bit fast. by evening it may change terrain around raleigh if not durham. this may be a little bit optimistic. i just don't see jumping up to near 40 friday evening. freezing rain continues. there could be some icing issues around the triangle. ice accumulations we show you in a bit. any precipitation friday night after midnight does taper off.

during the day saturday look how much it rapidly to the north and west. we could be talking up to three or four inches in there. anything over a quarter of an entry and you begin to have power issues. if you have plans to travel northward this is going to be a crippling snowstorm northern kentucky and west virginia virginia some areas could see more than two feet of snow. a blizzard watch for baltimore and washington. traveling is going to be

you will have to wait a little longer for the next star wars movie. it will be released in december 2017. it was originally scheduled for seven months earlier. the current star wars film the force awakens was scheduled for the summer of 2015 because you know it came out last month. he has no problem speaking before world leaders but president obama says don't ask me to give the commencement of my daughters graduation. he will be too emotional. it is going to the dogs.
