loaded into the corners and. this was unfortunately a fatal accident. we are waiting for more information. we do not know what exactly happened. right now, white oak road is back open. it was closed for nearly four hours. >> more breaking news out of hoyt county. the sheriff's office says one victim was taken to the hospital. someone is in custody. >> also breaking, the search for a hit-and-run driver. our crew on the scene said the car hit a pedestrian and kept going. it does not appear the victim has life-threatening injuries. i knew -- a witness told police he tried following the vehicle, but he got away.

all of these breaking stories tomorrow morning. >> new tonight, to durham men facing charges for a terrifying home invasion. they're both charged with burglary, armed robbery, and kidnapping. authorities say six people busted down the door of the home just before 5:00 this morning and demanded money. the suspects got away with cash and a cell phone. durham police say they were able to track the suspects to the -- to a hotel thanks to the cell phone. they are not ruling out the possibility of that this break-in is related to a string of robberies targeting asian business owners. >> a durham family still seek -- seeking closure after their friend was -- let one was gunned down in the middle of the street. he was killed in a drive-by shooting.

temperatures ranging from the mid-50's to the 60's in fayetteville. that is the average high. a little above that for early february. we were way above that today. these showers, the light rain we've had has a cool front slipping through. that means temperatures will not be nearly as warm as they were today. big weather maker across the country this week impacting us by wednesday. getting plastered by heavy snow. nothing severe. that could change tomorrow. southern minnesota into nebraska. this will be as big as the storm that hit the east coast a couple of weeks ago. eight to 12 to 13 inches. not the two to three feet that we saw.
