back to our top story. bernie sanders defying the polls and the pundits to pull off a surprise victory in michigan. it's a big disappointment for hillary clinton but she scored big in mississippi crushing sanders in what was a landslide. on the republican side, donald trump overcame a barrage of attacks to decisively win in michigan and mississippi. ted cruz picked up idaho and he battled it out with john kasich
